As much as these AI videos are incredibly mind-blowing, they will never replace anything original. There is almost always an aspect of darkness attached to the future of AI and its genius.

Nothing can ever replace a live artist. You are right. But I also believe that legislation will (and should be) put into place to protect living artists, so that Ai can become what it is supposed to be, a tool that artists can use to augment their craft.

The movie "The Wall" created before AI was a thing........but yet somehow so similar to AI Pink Floyd videos...We're not that much different after all...It also proves that AI has a while to go before reaching human potential in this area imo...but just like in chess, AI will eventually surpass us...
@Mary-xc2gu15 күн бұрын
@SockPuppet-q4x I don't feel AI can ever possess Conscious Intelligence. It is not within the Law of Nature. Artificial Computation is what it is in the end. That's not a bad thing depending on the intention of its creator.
@benjackson-f8p8 күн бұрын
The AI is very impressive, but i think there is just too much to look at and lacks focal points. it's like in the late 90s when photoshop first had layer effect like bevel and drop shadow. people just used it just to use it. Now it's just cram a much visuals as you can into a video.

Possibly very true. If extreme creativity becomes simple and available like a liter of milk from a corner store, it becomes banal. But like milk (which was also not that simple to get a long time ago) it will bring pleasure and even meaning to many people's lives. If there are more Hieronymus Bosches born, their art and talent will still be appreciated and venerated. Just think, Caciocavallo Podolico is revered by the people who know it. It is coveted and savoured by the few who can afford it. But it too, was just a liter of milk before it was a masterpiece. I believe that Ai art will never replace the glorious talent of human effort. Thank you so much for watching and commenting and making me think.

Yes,liked it at first. Then being an older person there was too much A.I. visual dangzings and I thought I would stroke out or at least slip onto the floor from my chair. So in order to get back to reality I turned on Mandy from Barry Manilow.

This is the best comment I have ever had. Oh Mandy, will you get me a pizza from Shakey's?

Just curious, how long does it take to create a video like this?
@bonsai-effectАй бұрын
this particular one took a while because it is made out of a bunch of smaller clips which I edited together. There was also much that ended up not being used. I like to generate the start images for the clips first, and then generating each clip takes about an hour or so. Editing took me about 3 days because I did several redos before I was happy.. which meant generating new clips as well. Then I like to up it from 15fps to 60 fps before final edit. (takes an hour or so) then when finished up the resolution to 4k (takes about 5 hours). Also I am not a professional so my approach to things is learn on a need to learn basis, have fun and have coffee. I think this video took about a week-ish. I am sure a pro could have done it in a day or so. Bonus of this is .. listening to the song over and over while I edit hahahaha.
