After my childhood dog Maxie Doodle passed away in 2019 I was completely heartbroken. Everyday felt like there was something missing. I am grateful to say I dont remember the depressing days after his death, but enjoy the memories of the happiness we shared as well as his last days. Since then, after two years of having a dog sized hole in our family, we decided to home another brother/son, my best friend Gunner Doo(both our dogs were/are doodles, and the middle name felt right to change up a little bit while still giving a ode to Max) Nothing can replace the loss of a loved dog, but Ill tell ya what, nothing beats giving a new dog a home.
