Good review but you need to review the 2024 version. The rear motor, differential, parking break and rear fenders are all great improvements plus the torque sensor and front shocks make great upgrades. I received mine this last Tuesday, assembled it and took it for a spin that Thursday. Wow, what a difference from the traditional trike with 7speed and 26” wheels. It was/is an instrument of torture. The Arisetan II M-360 is a great follow on to the previous model. Yes, it is expensive BUT due to its build quality and ride comfort, totally worth it. I’m 74 and due to double knee replacement and type 2 diabetes, this is the answer I was looking for to get some exercise. Addmotor included some “gifts” which some are useful and some I have questions about. I got 2 mirrors but there’s no place to mount the right side mirror. The liner for the storage rack is great. I’ve actually fitted a foam cooler in it for cold items. The lid doesn’t fit, so just the bottom part. It will still keep things cold from the grocery store. I really like this trike! I’ve seen a couple of close look a-likes but they are either not as functional and even more expensive. One is more than twice as much but it also has two motors. The M-360 is the one to get!

One thing I would like to see are slightly bigger handlebars. I have to have the seat moved back to allow optimum pedaling but my hands are tending to become numb after riding awhile. Another inch or two would help with that. This the first trike/bike where my hands become numb instead of my rear end! Otherwise very comfortable.

Thank you Brent for the quick reply. I'am trying to talk to her into either the rad 6 or himiway escape, both seem closer to the ground and both decent bikes, but she has small hands. She took the Maxfoot step through for a ride and she said it was too big for her, of course my sister-in -law is a tall girl and had the seat up pretty high and that turned her off to e-bikes. I convinced her there are smaller bikes that she can ride, she just needs a little practice to build her confidence. What do you think of those two I mentioned, they ok or do you think a trike is her best option. She doesn't want to go fast anyway but the only thing I don't like about the trike is the derailer is only like 5 inches from the ground, which means she would have to navigate closely when we go off road.
@electrifiedreviews2 жыл бұрын
heya GRH7! we haven't reviewed either of those models, but both those frame have super low standover heights, and that's what you'll want in this case. since your wife has small hands, I strongly recommend hydraulic brakes... they require less squeeze pressure compared to mechanical brakes. truth is: Step throughs are great. they're versatile, approachable and are capable of much higher speeds compared to trikes. but with higher speeds come higher consequences in the event of an accident. ultimately, it would be great if you guys could try a few out in person. would that be possible for you guys?

WOW, great review Brent. So what your saying is after about 12 mph they feel a little uneasy ( for lack of a better term) or maybe a little less STABLE. My wife isn't very atheletic and she wants a trike that she can go a little faster to keep up with everyone else. This is a tough decision because you can't ride or even look at these close up, we rely totally on people like you for an expert honest opinion before I drop my hard earned money on a $3000 dollar bike. Believe me she doesn't want to go fast but everyone we will be riding with have Maxfoots and I could just hear the feedback if she couldn'y keep up. Thanks again for your honest opinion.

hey thanks GRH7! yes, and the faster you go, and the faster you turn, the more unstable three-wheelers become. if she's looking to keep up with faster riders, another great option is a step-through e-bike with a super low standover height. that will make stepping over the frame as easy as stepping onto a sidewalk, and then from there you can quite easily mount the saddle. what do you think?

Everyone seems baffled as to why it's so much more expensive than the comparable 2 wheeled counterpart with basically the same gear. It's not to hard to figure if you think about it from a manufacturers' perspective. What if YOU had to produce this bike for the same price as a 2 wheeler ? Think about it; first there's the extra wheel with brake, brake pad and tire yeah ? That's before you even get started. Ok now the biggie ... they have to ship these things from china, not just to your door, so, look at it ... it has to ship in a box the size of a refrigerator... now how many of these can you get into a shipping container vs, how many 2 wheelers can you get into the same container ? Divide the cost of the shipping by the number of units and now you get some idea of where the extra cost comes from. Its the fact that you can't stack these things like library books in the warehouse. This same problem exists within the factory itself ... not only storage but even the jig to weld the frame can't be just a 2 dimensional affair, much more complicated to design, bend, align, secure, and weld in 3 dimensions. It is obviously a pain in the rear to deal with the basically extra dimension from factory to endpoint. Not that it's just more difficult from a convenience standpoint because its harder and you want it to be less difficult and simpler, but that all of these difficulties translate into extra time, extra space, extra engineering, extra workers working slower ... it all equals extra money compared to a 2 wheeler. You just didn't want to think of it cause you didn't have to do it. Well, now you're the plant manager and you have too. Every difficulty translates directly into more money, more money, more money. You're bosses are breathing down your neck and they want answers and every time you try to explain it to them, they look at you like you're making excuses or complaining. Heck the thing is probably a pain in the foot to even paint ! Now, if you can imagine, consider that you're gonna have a smaller market to sell to altogether, yep, bad news I'm afraid ... limited numbers over which to amortize your additional costs. Meanwhile your competition across the street is blasting out a thousand 2 wheelers a day and he moves so much product that he gets a discount from the dock workers. Seeing as how you are the manufacturer, what are YOU gonna do ? How dare you charge more ! You evil #@%$*&^ !!! You're hair is falling out and the doctors don't know why, your wife wants a divorce, and your kids hate you ! You thought it would be so simple. Where did you go wrong ? lol

The display has been updated, the tail light has blinkers, hazard lights, works as a brake light and is much larger than what is shown here. If the battery isn't too heavy you could get a few more to plop down into the rear basket to extend the range. Now you need to test out a Utah Trike e-Quad with extended bed. These can be manufactured to support 1-2 people in side-by-side seating arrangements, can support 500 pounds in single rider configuration, has up to 10 e-bike batteries mounted to what looks like ribs. These ribs are mounted to the left and right rear portion of the bed. Each battery has up to 50 miles range per charge in level 1 peddle assist. Five hundred miles of maximum range with PAS level 1 is insane. So too is the price of around $6,000 to $10,000. More range than an electric car.
