This felt surprisingly real. The calm killer more offended by the relatively minor crime od the other party more than her own arrest, her superior essentially refusing to implicate her, the victim actually being cooperative, and the doctors giving matching testimony to the victim. Kinda wish more cops were like Croc.

I'm gonna be honest, this was one of the more compelling bits of RP i've seen in a while. Croc going full detective, questioning witnesses, and putting the story together was very fun to watch. Stuff like this make me love NP because this was just a story that was happening in the world and Croc gets to come in and piece it together after the fact.

the problem is most of the other cops DONT do this. This is the kind of police work that trooper andrews was tryign to drill into the force. Go to 911s, question witnesses, take statements, and press charges. It's just not yahoooo cowboy wild west W's though.

@@Leon-yg5gm that's because, isn't trooper andrews an actual cop? So he knows how to roleplay and how to add elements of police work whilst making it entertaining and not too serious. Other NP cops do a good job in their efforts... but some just straight out ignore the policing aspect and just wanna bust anyone they can get their hands on BTW Im agreeing with you

I know what you mean. Typical in shows we see this happen from the omniscient pov so we know all sides and what really happened. But in this case we oy know stuff based on crocs pov and see how he investigates.

Croc is pretty much one of the best competent cops I know on NoPixel. Takes no sides and tries to understand each, enforces the law appropriately, Is the best mentor for officers. This is a great example of what an Officer should be.

I wouldn't call him the most competent because he does mess up pretty often but I do agree with you for the most part. There is like 5-6 cops that put in extra effort to make sure things are fair and not rp ruining and Croc is one of them. I would put him and Bass at the top. Two other noteworthy cops are Tyme Reducer and Mack.

Losing her job as an EMT isn't bothering her because once she gets out of jail, she'll be free to stalk and attack Sai as much as she wants. She's gone clean over the edge, way past caring, and that's why she's so blaise about it. She's accepted the consequences completely. I'm really curious to find out if she goes back to attacking him later on. Croc did the right thing despite the difficult nature of the situation.

Yeah I think Crocs real concern and questioning was actually OOC. Playing an EMS gets you priority, being a crim or civ doesn't get you anything unless you are already a large streamer. We probably won't see psycho EMS lady again.

@@Therandomguy Yeah but as jokerss is say it doesn't matter what you want to do if you don't have priority on the server. You can start as EMS and work your way up or grind for years to get whitelisted. Unless this psycho EMS bit worked we probably won't see her again.

its not that bad and actually pays well as far as civ jobs are concerned at 1K per hour. I'm an EMS on nopixel. The only bad part is lack of RP opportunities. You don't have to stay at the hospital at all, you're free to wander around in your ambulance as long as you're responding to calls.

i like croc he is doing his job as it should be done. if a cop does something wrong he will still charge them for it that's how you stop corruption from spreading. when you have agencies that look after each other no matter what then you will have officers committing crimes knowing they will be getting away with it.

I understand both sides. Croc isnt wrong. She committed a crime and he has to do something. Just because she is an ems, doesnt mean there aren’t consequences for her actions. I also understand the ems too. Obviously she was fed up with carter and took things into her own hands. Unfortunately it comes with punishment. This is why i like croc rp. He doesnt care if someone is a government employee. He does the role of police fairly.

Croc is actually wrong and the case will get thrown out because for sai lol which is funny. 1st degree is premeditated, while she might have threatened him he harassed her and refused to leave in the first place making and by continuing to harassment he escalated. The people that run the hospital can kick people out a not doesn’t need to be made in the mdw for this. If they refuse to leave the will be consider trespassing. Committing one crime sai Carter’s special which is why it will be thrown out. Get action would be consider second degree is anything because dispute threats the action was a heat of a moment

Lethal action is NOT a valid response to any level of harassment unless and until you have a reasonable suspicion that there is an imminent and likely inescapable threat to your life

I can see that assault rifle pov, and understandable when seen on the SOPs, but he just heard hatchet hospital. Gotta secure EVERYONE'S safity fast in that giant building, so waving it around should be fine, to show that you have lethal to take down a "hatchet murder". There shouldn’t be an issue ooc, since physical violence is nothing in a video game where death only happens when willing. Plus, it’s rp, so a lack of empathy also shouldn’t matter. Half of the people in nopixel act out with no empathy, including beloved characters

She has obviously been asking police for help with him for a long time and they haven't/won't do anything about it. It happens all the time. It was the same for when someone tried to kill Dreah (the Deputy Mayor) and no one would even question anyone nor investigate. - And Dundee acting like having a felony is a big deal... it will take 2 weeks to esponge her record and probably get her job back. He's acting as if the Chief of Police didn't kidnap and torture someone yet still get promoted to Chief.

But it's always awesome to see dark RP going on, it usually have interest themes when done right and it's incredibly compelling to watch and see the resolution and the outcomes of what can come from it.
