To be honest, I use to have hopes that Rust would be this revolutionary community building survival experience with small towns of survivors popping up, people trading and warring factions.. And then I played it for a few months and realized it is just toxic trolls and PVPers. One dimensional experience if you don't have friends to play it with.

That's just your lack of actual understanding of the word in this context coupled with either your lack of self-awareness or refusal to accept responsibility for unhealthy behaviour. You should examine why you're so sensitive to a word that accurately describes being a piece of shit ( read toxic). Discovering what makes you toxic may lead to positive change. The guys they were fighting in this instance were actually toxic. Racist signs on their base and homophobic slurs being thrown at Ash before this went down. They earned the title.
