She has had a lot happen to change her including several traumatic head injuries. If Dundee could have put his pride/ego aside then there is a decent chance she'd have come around to his side of things eventually. Not like doing crime and murder but being more okay with it and supporting it in more ways and being his actual Old Lady. But Dundee is absolutely god awful with relationship and being rational, plus just too damn busy, so he is much better off with his play-Husband Barry than actually pursuing something with Emma.
