Teenage Mia did her absolute best to try and fix things, but due to her mistakes at the academy, conspiracies, and people framing her she was way out of her depth and unable/too late to make a meaningful difference. It´s just depressing that she did the best she could only for her to spent her last years in a cold cell, hated by almost everyone, borderline tortured by her guards, and died to the cheers of the people she tried to help.... It´s telling that even in the original timeline Ludwig refused to join Sion after he execution and started fights with people who talked bad about her.

She wasn't actually terrible. Wven at the academy from what I read online light novel spoilers, she wasn't even trying to bully Tiona, but thought she was a servant being disciplined and didn't help her. She's also a victim in this.

Okay, this is the first time I have ever seen it occur to a protagonist that taking lethal revenge might result in their ENEMY coming back in time. Because it is logical to consider that you might not be unique in that regard.

Mia and Abel bring out the best in each other, and they are so cute together, so it’s obvious that he’s the male lead. Mia was never really a terrible person, just a misunderstood person, who was manipulated. I’m not bothered that her motives are rather selfish, most people are selfish to some extent are they not?

Until we get rid of the current cast of english voice actors i don’t want them touching this anime. I’m actually embarassed that they represent english translations so poorly that japanese studios are looking into ai to replace voice acting in general

I disagree though, many new animes have had stellar english dubs: Apothacary diaries, i'm a spider so what, keep your hands off eizouken all of these have dubs that match well in voice and translation, there are more that are fine and good. There are still some awful dubs don't get me wrong but I feel like a lot more female oriented audience dubs have been better then action dubs of late. The Shōnen dubs always see to use the same voice actors over and over, I also appreciate sometimes the english voice actors choose less high pitched voices for female characters (I loved this anime don't get me wrong but for a while until I got used to it Mia's voice was kinda grating. Same with i'm a spider so what in the sub.)

The studios are looking into ai because they got sick of voice actors being racist and mistranslating on purpose and doing shit like what happened with miss kobayashi. Irregardless of what you think,the point that everyone is making is that the japense studios are sick of crunchyroll and funimation crying about every damn issue under the sun and purposefully mistranslating thus changing the animes from their intended purpose. I used to watch dub and honestly i would watch it nowadays if i trusted studios to JUST do their job but im not going to support them nearly the entire anime community agrees with me. And the difference between the arrogant and overly political american voice actors and the japanese voice actors is night and day, the americans don’t even put emotion on the same scale lmao like the japenese put so much more effort into it to the point that there are literal colleges build around the job and work their asses off. Back in the day though there were many great dubs but modern dubs are tradh because of who is doing the dubbing, not because of quality alone so once again everything i have said i stick with since im literally right to feel this way lmao

Oh, nice to actually see a "I reincarnated in myself story" done right. The only one I saw was played for laughs: it was a comic Italian movie series with the unluckiest person in the entire world (Fantozzi). Like... the world doesn't hate him but really is still far from not loving him either and he knows it. At one point, after living the best week of his life thinking it's the last one, he get the news "there was a mixup at the hospital, you are going to live!" "YES!" and then a asphalt paver passes by... finally in Paradise, ready to board the flight to Eden... it gets hijacked. EVEN IN PARADISE he can't catch a break, he is taken to Buddah and then spins a wheel of reincarnation... "How lucky I am... myself." Then in the sequel he does reach Eden but... "fully booked", until a new opening, you can enjoy Earth for a little more.

Haven't seen, or if it is out there then I haven't stumbled across it, a video comparing Tearmoon Empire with My Next Life as a Villainess. There's major differences but when you break it down, the general plot is pretty much the same. It's just one is an Isekai, and the other has Isekai Elements but isn't really one, but the MC pretty much follows the same general plot.
