the 'montage music' while you're building the basic system was hilarious:) The info presented is detailed, informative and precise - thanks for making this video:)

Relatively new to SD as a whole, and picked up ComfyUI pretty quick after starting (seems like a much better way of doing things to me). Thanks a lot for sharing your workflows, processes, explanations, and understanding of the whole lot. Have utilised some of your previous tutorials to assist me in creating my own workflows so far. Much appreciated. Keep making and enjoying :)

Where does "ResolutionDuo" come from. I cannot locate the node anywhere and the .json file will not run without it. Thank you.
@ferniclestix Жыл бұрын
theres a little note on the video where I use it but you need nested nodes builder to use it. It is two integer's duct taped together.

Does anyone know what package has the 'Text Box' nodes? And what's the difference between that and just using a primitive string?
@ferniclestix Жыл бұрын
quality of life suite and WAS suite both have text box nodes. If you look at the green text above nodes you can see the name of the custom node it is from :D - although for this tutorial I think i'd just finished reinstalling and forgot to re-activate that particular feature... mmm not sure which ones have that actually, ive been recording tutorials and not releasing yet XD

Excellent tutorial! Better than many others. In your other video about masking, you mention that the VAE Encode (for inpainting) node is not very useful for inpainting, and to use the 'Set Latent Noise Mask' node instead. Do you still stand by this opinion?
@ferniclestix Жыл бұрын
mmm, its more situational I think, there are massive advantages for set latent noise which i think is more available and similar to what A1111 does that its probably best for new people to mess around with. Vae for inpainting is good for other things but more fiddly to get it to do exactly what you want.

Also "Dilate Mask" from Impact Pact is a piece of magic against ugly seams
@ferniclestix Жыл бұрын
I generally find masking annoying because comfyUI's implimentation of masking does not use the full greyscale range instead once it drops below a certain value its just zeroed out. which is why we get sharp edges even with blurred or dilated mask edges. I need to look more into impact pack, theres just sooo many nodes lol.

@@ferniclestix I especially love the part when undocumented nodes have the same input as output and suggest connections to nodes I can't make any sense of either.

Its a royalty free song from Kevin Mcleod who is a very prolific musician who makes stuff for both film and television but he also provides a huge list of freely available works that people who make stuff on youtube can make use of. there is a link in the details section

How do I find "Resolution Duo" Node?
@ferniclestix Жыл бұрын
I put a little note in the tutorial about it, it is a nested node and you need the nested node builder to use it. its just two integers duct taped to eachother.

Thanks for the video. Could the workflow have been just a bit overkill here? :)
@ferniclestix Жыл бұрын
ive got more complex ones :D I mean yeah, you can probably do it in like a couple of nodes, but when showing multiple options and what each thing does, its better to make a workflow where they can be easily compared. once you have something you like you would probably just refine it down to one set of options. :D

A lot of your workflows are just far too intense to replicate via pausing the screen. Tried it and no thanks. Now taking a predefined workflow and modding it to see how it works, while following along to your vid, is the best way, for me at least, to get valuable useful info. The shorter, smaller, workflows are fine.
@ferniclestix Жыл бұрын
true :D yeah this one assumes some more advanced skills from following earlier tutorials or i'd have step by stepped the build process for it. My aim with the How2 series is to kinda meet the needs of those who just wanna instant do the thing while the longer ones are for people who just wanna chill and learn.
@generalawareness101 Жыл бұрын
Neither is actually for me as I said I am no script kiddie as in just grab and run, but I don't want to get frustrated trying to follow along on the screen building as I go either.@@ferniclestix

Modding and messing with stuff is how I learn myself too :D, I often find myself on github asking the node makers how things work too, great resource they are usually pretty interested in helping out.

Yeah, I always hate when I am told "don't ask how it works, or why it works, just use it". For me that is not the right answers.@@ferniclestix
