Hmmm, all i'd like to know is, how did I generate the IDENTICAL cat on a roof image with a completely different seed number than in the video? As I understand it, my image should be based on a different random selection of input data if my seed is not the same as the one you used?

the seed shown in your workflow is actually a new seed, if you click back, it would probably be the same seed. only if its random its kind of hard to check.

can i follow your setup if i want to use ssd-1b or sd1.5 models instead

you cann... but yeah. theres not much of a good reason to do it, refiner workflows are generally designed for SDXL. also SDXL clips won't be compatable with 1.5

Really great tutorial from scartch ,very usefull ! the process lasted almost 30 minutes for me maybe because it's the first time I use sdxl or do i have to do some tweak low vram tweak on the run.bat ,my config AMD Ryzen 5 5500 16 go Ram GFU Amd RYZEN Rx 580 8go

AMD are very slow for SD in general. lower resolution might help but SDXL uses lots of ram so... yah.

Thanks for the vid! How did you get you KSampler to show the image generation? Mine doesn't do this.

I think I show this on like.... part 2? but I definately explain it on my ComfyUI introduction tutorial. you go to your bat file (the one that runs your comfyui) and add this: --preview-method auto to your bat.

add "--preview-method auto" (without the quotes) to the first line of your run_nvidia_gpu.bat file and your Ksampler will run the preview.
