A: I use Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro & After Effects. Photoshop for image editing and thumbnails. Premiere Pro for compositing and After Effects for motion graphics (the fancy animations).

@justwingingit8110 The comic is named "The years have worn away," so much of the comic is about how much things have changed in the last seven years, a deliberate metaphor for how much they've changed in seven real life years. A deliberate air of melancholy runs through most of the comic. The old team has ceased business just like how the original TF2 dev team has moved on to other projects, the Announcer has passed away just like Rick May did, Saxton Hale isn't having fun at his desk job just like how we all miss our glory days and some people at Valve are dissatisfied spinning their wheels. But the comic is also about how it's not all bad. The old team might not work together but they are still friends, they get together for Smissmas dinner, just like how Valve is still working together on projects and the fans are still excited for them. It's bittersweet to remember the past, but we still have futures to look forward to as well

Re: the statue & the pics of different mercs at the Administrator's HQ, in the previous comics, Classic Heavy talked about hunting & taking down all the Administrator's "best" teams (Team Echelon, Team Citadel, Team Vanguard), and that Team Fortress were "the rejects". So the mercs we see in HQ would have been from all these other teams.

I like that theory. I really want to learn more about the factions like RED, BLU and 'purple team' and the less known teams, and how they appear to the public if they are known at all. What would happen to all those decommissioned robots from Gray Mann? Though Team Vanguard was changed to Team Ajax just so that it would fit the alphabetical naming. But yeah. The TFC mercenaries were able to hunt and take down what are considered the "best" teams the Administrator has and yet lost to Team Fortress, the worst team. I'm pretty sure the statue is also missing the letter F and the plaque/statue of one of the TF2 mercs, further cementing that idea.

I was bothered at first because they never implicitly stated what the Elizabeth's problem was with Zephaniah but considering he was part of a long line of fratricidal murderers (he himself being a key part of the industrial military complex.) It's honestly weirder he only had Helen as an archnemesis, probably something to do with that girl crying over two dead bodies. Maybe it's better this way.

Now, she could show Mann everyday of his eternal life how their children keep on figthing for decades without end, no one really closer to victory over the other. And that's what she did. However, that eternal torture BECAME her life, It even overwrite her initial desite of revenge (that's how I interpret the initial covers. She couldnt really remember how her parents died

Her older siblings, who were killed by one of Mann's, suggesting she is part of this murderous family and in-line with them Elizabeth decided to haunt her older brother or cousin in revenge? She no longer remembers or cares, too much of her life was twisted into making Zephaniah suffer to bother with reasons anymore.

I feel like either a)Zephy's parents decided to have one more child (Eli) when he was already all grown up, which is why he makes a point of ever being an "only child", denying Elizabeth's existence, b)El was daughter of one of the sisters "claimed by fire" and decided to end the history of fratricide with her cousin, figuring that if Zeph wasn't an only child, he would be no better, and finding confirmation in how he treated his own children, c)Elizabeth's parents either worked in Zephaniah's factories until they were not needed or simply fell victims to the wars proponed by his weapons, or d)she got the wrong guy and spent all this time haunting oldman by complete mistake, which, honestly, wouldn't even be the most "omega lul, so random, tee-hee!" moment of the story.

I love the meaning and symbolism behind TF2's final issue. Valve has been maintaining TF2 for almost 2 decades now, and I would understand if their motivation and momentum to keep updating the game are no more, especially since they've been persuing new things with Deadlock and the Steam Deck. Just like how the Administrator has been keeping up with her feud for so long that she has forgotten why she did it in the first place, Valve has been with the game for so long that they've most likely shelved most of their major plans for TF2's future. They have moved on from the game to develop new and exciting things, and I'm excited to see what's next in the future.

@@diamondback7719 It's most likely that the TFC mercs had already hunted down and finished off all the other teams, the ones who everyone considers to be the "best" teams, at least more professional than Team Fortress. Remember that the Administrator thinks that she had used up the last reserves of the Australium. When what she considers to be the worst team (Team Fortress) comes up to her and tell her that there they couldn't find anymore Australium reserves, she had understandably given up. As far as we know, Team Fortress is the only team left under her command that are still alive.

This is truly a final goodbye to the fans, meanwhile we keep pushing to keep the cheaters down and out. And by how the comic symbolises it, we looked at TF2's situation wrong, it's not that Valve doesn't want to update the game but they lacked the drive to do so, shown by Hal finally putting down his hat. A man can push a boulder up a hill hard, but a man can only push so much before he falls to his knees and rest the boulder on it's perch. That's what TF2 is, Valve has already push this boulder up but now they put it to rest. Goodbye TF2 and to the community keep fighting like a mann against the cheaters

If were going by implications the administrator's deal with the mann family is seen on the cover, zepphenia had something to do with the death of the administrator's parents or whoever the 2 are, but due to how long they lived, that memory became more and nore corrupted details changed to eventually a revenge without the memory, hence why theres 3 different panels with child administrator.

The cover hints of her parents being killed, but yeah we didn't get anything solid. I'm going to go on a rant so brace yourself... Despite how big a gap between the comic releases were, this last comic feels super rushed, only the art got better. There's so much to unpack with the factions and they just left it in the dust, instead opting for a huge time jump where all the characters are just resigned and moved on. That's boring! no morals or satisfying conclusion. The character development with scout didn't have any lead up, if anything it was just a lazy retcon of the relationship with Pauling in expiration date and earlier comics. His new family is as if he plucked them from the multiverse like fuckin' Wanda. At least soldier and Zhanna's kids made more sense ffs. The rest of the merc team barely even spoke to each other, let alone had any issues to overcome. I was expecting more cloak-and-dagger type of resistance from Admin before she carked it, considering she was supposed to be oh so intelligent but nope, she didn't even notice a glowing rock behind Pauling's back before she bit the dust. There are still good ideas in this comic ofc, but it feels like it got put in a hydraulic press with how condensed the finale was. I like Admin's dissent into madness and crippling regret and greed but I think it should have still been more drawn out. And, if it was always planned for scout to move on from Pauling there should have been much more introspective moments and communication. Everyone seems to be excusing the glaring drop in quality because we haven't had anything new for so long.
