My local comic shop had No poster for Batman Gargoyles & Gotham .. nice to get your hands on one.... really good book! My fav Capt. America comics are Theatre Of War series! Great comic book knowledge man! 👍 👌🖖

Paul Jenkins is a great writer, he was behind the Sentry ruse, and Wolverine's Origin book, and he was even in what? the issues 6 and 7 maybe of New Avengers lol!, so I would be interested in that book, I will keep an eye out for it, "Theatre Of War", especially since it depicts him during WWII, nice. I like the historical fiction aspect as well fsho! lol! YO! I am at the Graphic Vandalism livestream at the moment, if you ever get a chance, as I am promoting them, I dont know them personally but I like their shows, there is a recent livestream they did interviewing that creator team The Vien I think may dig, it fun. Please hit me back with any recommendation any other sites you may think I should hit up that has some great interviews and interaction. Appreciate you hitn me up swing by Peace

The art in that Batman GoG looks badass! Nice score on the poster... I had never seen those Ultimates before... Interesting the first avenger movie is from those pages....I actually liked the Cap movies over the comics... I'll definitely check to see if I can get a trade pb at the library of those books. So they had in mind Samuel L Jackson to play nick fury way before the movies...damn. Good stuff dude!

Any way, the livestream is going on right now at Graphic Vandalism, they are pumpn up livestreams so there is this one I just recommended to Psychotronic', the interview w/the The Vein creator team... check it out! it ya like... AAAaaany Way! Yeah maaan, ya didnt know about tha Sammy L Jackson being the template for the new Nick Fury'z know im sayn wtf! LOL! Go to the library and reserve that Ultimate Avengers 2 it is a two disc set and the interviews with Millar and Hytch are informative oh!yeah! check it ooouuuut ese lol!

man i'm pumped for Gargoyle of Gotham. big fan of Grampa's art, curious to read his writing. i preordered the Noir edition but i don't think it's coming in this months mycomicshop shipment. great X-Men books, Paul Smith was dope back in the days. have you given The Ultimates a re-read in recent years? i loved it on first read but i don't remember if it felt padded some to stretch to 13 issues. keep up the good work SG.

Yup, you are correct, there was soo much greatness for me that came out of those first two volumes, but the whole "decompressed" story lines were one aspect perpetuated within "NuMarvel" that became way too excessive -is what it is, for me the bad is not even close to outweighing the "good" of that era, for me -so when I re-read them I will let you know if I still have that view -good question, L Bo!

Those Who Sit Above In Shadows sounds very interesting, and a great idea in Odin loosing his eye. I'll definitely check out your other links, interesting Carol Danvers 411 breakdown, too. Still haven't read the OG Ultimates, either, but plan on it someday. I'm suppose to have Batman Gargoyle shipped to me, but might just go hunt one down. I guess there was a recall on that book since some pages were out of order? Anyway, nice poster score too, SG. ✌

The story about Those Who Sit Above In Shadow, they should start a band rite lol!, they ARE a cool idea, and I need to follow up and see if that is a Marvel idea or what. Yo!Hey! Im over at Graphic Vandalism they are having a livestream, I should mention them in my next vid fsho, they just did this interview with artist / writer team for The Vein in their livestream, I think you may dig it.. Those first two Ultimates volumes are part of the books I recommend for people to check out if they are new or returning to comics fsho fsho, I also include any thing by Peter Bagge, among others know im sayn, but for superheroes -Have you read Fantastic Four 1234 Jae Lee art?

Yeah, I read those two The Authority TPBs right away and then gave them away at some dentist's office, the first TPB actually is about setting them up as a global presence, taking on interdimensional threats, world threats, space sh!t that was dormant in the moon, and then Jenny Sparks 'dies' but then you got Frank Quitely taking over art just after than and he and Millar bring in that fukn CRAZY The Americans twisted super group, from the USA of all places, perfect. So that reminds me, around that same time was a ltd series Cla$$ War, please maybe write that one down, it's dope. Any way, I actually found some interesting low brow kinda indie stuff that you may very much dig, so to be cont'd rite! gotta bring it to the next vid lol! Peace

@@SequentialGeek So when Millar and Quitely take-over The Authority takes on The Boys type of vibe huh (to a lesser degree I'm sure considering it is DC). Hmmm that Cla$$ War... I see it was released by the same publisher (comX) of that Middleton book I talked about - The Sky Between Branches... cool I will keep that in mind. Stay up brah!✌
