Too many people lose their mind over Frank Miller and Alan Moore as the ones who made comics relevant, but Neal Adams and Denny O'Neil deserve all the credit, and their works on Batman and Green Lantern/Green Arrow prove it.

Neal Adams is indeed a legend. I met him years ago at The Big Apple Comics Convention. I was in awe. Ironically, in the 70's, when I was just a little kid, I was too young to appreciate his contribution to comics when he was at the height of his career. Instead I first noticed him when I was a tween/teen in the 80's. First in the reprints of the DC classic Green Lantern/Green Arrow comics and in Pacific Comics' Ms. Mystic, and then in Continuity Comics - the company he started (where Ms. Mystic later transferred over to). Anyway I really would like to see Continuity characters make a comeback. If nothing else, then perhaps sell the rights to the characters to DC so Neal can have some involvement working with them again. DC has a long history of acquiring characters from smaller companies so that would be nothing new. I think it would be kinda cool seeing Ms. Mystic, Megalith, Armor, Toyboy, Samuree, etc again. Would be a shame to let the characters fade into total obscurity. I can see it now...Armor vs. Deathstroke, Megalith alongside Superman, Samuree alongside Zealot or Katana, Ms. Mystic alongside Zatanna or Raven.

Continue Studios was also before Image Comics, Adams creator-owned characters were first. such as Samuree, Miss mystik, Megalith, all before spawn , Savage dragon, Wildcats etcetera

Steranko & Jim Lee were also great artists, but their art was more fitting for posters, Neal on the other hand could make his panels come alive, tell a story without any words, but yes I read the words too as Roy Thomas was a fantastic writer, John Buscema to me was up there with Neal on creative story telling artwork, I still love the 1969 X-men comics Neal pencilled and still have most of them I purchased when I was 12 years old,

Great to see Neal and his family are doing okay! Got worried about him when I saw that DC had postponed the last 2 issues of the Batman vs Ra's Al Ghul mini indefinitely. Would've been nice if there was an announcement made in this video as to when we can expect that mini's final 2 issues to come out. Instead we're just left hanging.

Neal Adams predicted that motion comics would be the next big thing close to a decade ago. He was right! Look at Spiderman into the Spiderverse, look at all the new motion comic style animation that's being put out. He deserves more credit then he's been given over the years.

Neal with Denny saved Batman. Period! Without these two individuals there would be no Frank Miller Dark Knight, no Christopher Nolan Batman Dark Knight movies, no Joker movie etc.

I love Neal's work in the late 60's and early 70's. That was the high point in his career. His latest work? Not so much. Batman Odyssey was a disaster.

Script wise, yes. Overall. But issue#3 and issue#13 was HARDLY a disaster. That was BRILLIANT comic book making. Only a genius could construct those scenes + concepts.

They call this protect a character, Batman is being a laughingstock with his new propaganda, they want to know something about the writings of the past, they would not let someone like that handle a symbol, gotham high, please they are scrubbing an iconic symbol of superheroes and not only a batman but all his characters; and nobody does anything they are ruining their stories their comics; I worry that you write without a hint of knowing that they write about a hero of my childhood and nobody protects the heroes who protect us
