I wonder if it has to do with whatever Archie will be going through for season 4, since that was the question asked by the interviewer. By the looks of pictures I’ve seen from season 4 set, Fred will pass away. I feel like it was a moment where Cole was just trying to provide a little comfort, maybe make him laugh. But I could be way off, that’s just how I took it. I feel like KJ is going to have an emotional season of filming, especially if some of it will be about him honoring “his dads” legacy. KJ and Luke were so close, KJ may be struggling with it.
