I’ve been reading X-Men since 1987 through 2001. Wolverine was only good because he showed action in the comics. If you think about it everybody in X-Men. If they take a direct hit they’re pretty much down except colossus, apocalypse and juggernaut. just to name a few. I think the best way they can show wolverine in the marvel universe. Is to put him in a situation where he takes a lot of damage over and over again and he just keeps coming and he doesn’t stay down. The fear of damaging somebody with killer blows and he just won’t die or stay down. And he gets some madder and madder. That was makes wolverine such a bad ass in the comics. Oh yeah the claws really help too

They leaned into that big time in the animated series. Wolverine is *arguably* better than Cap hand-to-hand (and more experienced) and has a track record of getting the job done, and he does his best to pay respect to any honest person he meets. As a movie-maker it must be tempting to make Wolverine either an indefatigable tank or a unmatched, skilful martial artist.

His workout is everyday carrying that adamantium and getting cuts since he is constantly healing his muscles. But he also got this mentality where he trains by himself alot in the danger room so he does workout too.

We got a glimpse of Wolverine's hot claws during his fight scene with Deadpool in X-men Origins: Wolverine. We saw him meet a wolf and playing with a cat in X2. Then, he's hanging with a grizzly bear in the Wolverine. We saw his sense of smell and hearing throughout the original X-men trilogy and in Origins. We saw his sense of touch in X2 and the Wolverine. We saw his telepathy immunity in Logan. Finally, the best examples of Wolverine's beserker rage that we've all witnessed were in X2, X3, Apocalypse, and Logan. I don't see a point in Wolverine needing martial arts when he can simply impale someone with his claws.

Having Wolverine join up with spiderman would be great for the mcu. giving peter a new father figure that can help teach him through his wisdom of being the world traveled guy he is, I could easily see a scene where spidermans spidey sense goes off and wolverines sense pick it up at the same time. that'd be cool.

Martial arts are not necessarily an advantage to wolverine given his abilities except for when he actually needs them because brute force and aggression has proven to win over skill until fatigue starts setting in, but the healing factor stops wolverine from tiring.

That wasn't a crossover w/ Black Widow & Winter Soldier; Wolverine was actually an Avenger before; in fact, when The X-Men fought The Avengers, Wolverine fought on the Avengers' side against The X-Men; I won't even mention what Winter Soldier did to Wolverine's baby mama, in which his son, Daken, had a premature birth as a result; also, I've read comic books where Wolverine & Spider-Man are actually good friends; they even fought as a team when Wolverine was a guest feature in a Spider-Man comic; then we had another comic book that featured Wolverine, Spider-Man, Ghost Rider (the old version that rode the 🔥 horse) & The Incredible Hulk as the new Fantastic Four....

If they were to make a wolverine movie It needs to be gritty dark show casing the action similar to Jason Bourne but faster and raw straight up savage and ruthless as well as using all his abilities like his senses in a movie and yes showing his skills and knowledge his experience he's gained over his life since the character comes from the Colonial period My opinion and this is just myself I've always been interested in the character you could rewrite his storyline a little bit but change little things like instead his family abandoning him in the wilderness when he was a youngster since he had his abilities as a mutant they were frighten and scared leaving him out in the wilderness alone where the young boy became a savage animal and it was the indigenous people who found and caught him took the young Logan and raised him as one of their own reducating him and honed his skills and from there it could show the time periods he lived in and battles he fought other skills and language's he learnt along his journeys from past to present day
