Probably not intentional on Araki’s part but Joseph using hermit purple in SC to swing off buildings in Cairo always gave me Spider-man vibes. Like I said, probably not intentional but we know one of Joseph’s hobbies was collecting comic books so my head canon has always been that Joseph read Spider-man and wanted to try web-swinging with hermit purple when his stand manifested.

Theres also a good amount of characters in Jojo that take inspiration from it and may also be why part 3 has a more multinational cast and settings. A few characters that could possibly have inspiration from Kinnikuman characters would be Joseph who shares many characteristics to the main character Kinniku and Polnareff who could draw inspiration from the character Terryman as they share a similar kind of introduction and development in the main cast.
