Hey ya'll. It's great to have another comix channel to watch - have been watching Cartoonist Kayfabe for a while and am running out of episodes of them to watch... love that you're showing work I've never seen anywhere else! Enjoying your discussions but I am noticing that when one of you interrupts or talks over the other it gets really difficult. I'm interested in hearing what each of you each has to say but I'm constantly bracing for the interruptions. Give each other room to talk and finish a thought makes a HUGE difference in the viewing experience! Subbed! Looking forward to more interesting work! All the best!

Thanks including on screen all the artists/publications/publishers you mention in conversation, extremely useful and almost never seen done

Thanks, the whole intention of the channel is to shine light on creators and all their hard work.

Great stuff fellas. Loved seeing this. I’m a sign painter and a comic creator. Check out the squirrel hair brushes from scharff. Also I got into sign painting through zines and that documentary y’all mentioned. Def looking forward to checking out more of these videos.

Sign painting is something we are both interested in learning more about. I see an episode in the future if we can get our hands on enough material.

I enjoyed this. BTW didn’t Koyama Press announce its intent to cease operations in 2021? I think they’re done.
@nicholasforker19418 ай бұрын
yeah, but Koyama is still awarding grants. not publishing anymore tho sadly. thanks for watching!

you guys are being a bit too diplomatic in dancing around topics imo. like the 2dcloud thing? I did a search online and couldnt find anything about it. And I know that Sim is a piece of garbage but someone else might not. idk sometimes you just gotta call em like you see em rather than try to be everyones friend.

I think it's more about just saving mental energy for what we do like than wasting breath on what we find unskillful.
