That's a great example of pacing. To put in perspective the short dialogue to allow the readers eye to move across the pages faster to create speed or slowing it down with longer pieces of dialogue

Thanks, Jim! I'm feeling more compelled to get to scripting again lately and this is a great whirlwind of key points to keep me mindful of how I'm writing for myself.

I like to read a lot of indie stuff - mostly from Kickstarter. When I'm choosing what I might support, I definitely look at the density of text. Text-walls are a quick turn off for me - but I know that's a personal preference.
