The Ultimate Universe was awful. It was a very cynical and nihilistic universe outside of Spidey stuff. So, yeah, The Maker is turning a universe that would have been more hopeful and bright, like the 616 universe, into a cynical and nihilistic universe, and the best way to do it, is preventing heroes to be made and thus making things awful for everybody

Jackson's for the likeness of Nick Fury well this time they could do a new version of Nic Fury but this time using the likeness of David Hasselhoff from the 90's movie. After even if the David Hasselhoff movie was inspired by the original Nick Fury from the comics the original doesn't look nothing or act like the David hassellhoff version.

The original Ultimate universe Thor didn't have a hammer that was powered by technology, that was a lie that Loki told the Ultimates to turn them against Thor in Ultimates 2. Ultimate Thor was always magical and his powers/armor were always powered by magic.

In the mcu they have everything they need to make a science version of mjolnir. Gravitonium or chitauri gravity tech. Vibranium or even left over metal from the destroyer armor or the beserker staff. An arc reactor. And finally, the weather manipulator machine from agents of shield that accidentally gave that student freezing powers. Shrink the weather manipulation machine down using advanced stark tech or wakandan tech, use the arc reactor to both power the weapon and absorb the lightning, and the gravitonium manipulates gravity so that it can only be picked up by the user or someone with unimaginable strength. Just use power from the arc reactor to influence the gravitonium in a way that makes the hammer literally as heavy as earth, or gravity trickery like it’s center of mass is actually on the moon.

There's an older comic that showed Doom getting the mask fitted onto his face, and basically it was drawn to where it looked like he only had a burn mark going down one cheek. He didn't look horribly disfigured, but insisted upon having the mask basically melted onto his face to "hide his hideousness," and that (undoubtedly) ended up actually disfiguring him. TL;DR: Doom's mask was put & kept on because he had a bruised ego.
