I've been reading comics for 50 years. Like you, I know and have read a lot about most DC and Marvel characters. That being said, this is probably one of the best " ….. and only I will remember and know" stories to date. It also may be THE best Dr. Strange story ever. And you have covered it wonderfully. From all of us, thank you for your work in helping to fully understand the story. It is truly appreciated.

I collected a lot of titles/publishers from the 70s to the 00s. Still carrying over 50k comics around and people hate helping me move, heh. This video showed me that Marvel still has some writers that care about characters and older canon. This is my second favorite Galactus story, which says a lot all considered. Trial of Galactus is now in third. The absolute best Galactus story ever was when he met the High Evolutionary on Counter Earth and... okay, was beat by the Impossible Man sacrificing his planet and causing Galactus, um, cosmic indigestion. Silly as it sounds it was a great story run that bred hundreds of future tie ins.

Galactus consuming everything resulted in the end of the universe and an absolute imbalance in magical power. Unless 0% is balance. I think what this really means is that the living tribunal and eternity are absolutely useless. If there was any situation at all that them stepping in would be deemed as necessary this would be it. If they won't step in to prevent the end of the universe or the total collapse of magic, They are worthless. It doesn't even make sense why powerful individuals take them on when they go from universe to universe. Very rarely do they defend it. Eternity: made out of 100% of the life in the universe. Thanos: "I'm going to kill 33% of you." Eternity: "No prob bob."

I love this story. Because it finally shows Galactus at his FULL power. Which is enough to scare even the LT. : ) So basically Galactus is the strongest in the universe (maybe not multiverse but still. Galactus isnt a punk any more)

If Galactus made a weapon(the Ultimate Nullifier)that can destroy the entire Marvel Multiverse, wouldn't that make him the most powerful?🤷♂️ Under TOAA of course!

Dumb it's not what you think dorm is more powerful than Galactus it's was just a narrative to creat such story

@@thevanquisher6928 Dormammu has NEVER been more powerful than Galactus. I've read allot of comics and I honestly have no idea where you came up with that.

Very good matchup, Galactus with all his Heralds I think would definitely give him the edge

I think Galactus wins regardless tho. Unless it's starving Galactus then he loses

ten minutes into the video Galactus changes his diet drastically without knowing what it will do to him. After a few hours of stomach cramps, the diarrhea that ensues is on a cosmic scale ...

I do consider myself a pretty "hardcore" Dr. Strange fan. And to let you know, that ending with Clea in issue #17 really messed me up. I almost threw my comic out the window. Likely because I'm going through similar things in my own life right now but hoooooooly blue balls on Bleeker St, Batman! That is a tough pill to swallow. My ass actually thought they were gonna get back together for at least a bit. Thanks for the vid. Excuse while I go cry forever.

Great videos. I enjoy it. A suggestion: For comic newbie like me, can you create a road map for me (us) to learn rather than random stories? You may already have it. I found the stories are interesting but hard to follow without knowing the history. For example, from "nothing" in unverse then have road map lea to Galactus, then Dr Strange. So I can learn or watch a playlist in some kind of sequence? So, may be a play list of "learning everything from zero", "Learning Dr strange from ground up".

Needing a million to fix his house then getting it destroyed. That sounds either a gullible Mephisto or aiding in insurance fraud.
