Honestly they shouldn't have even been able to exhibit the force required to to restrain and actually kill him. In the past he has literally just sat there taking blows from henchman while recovering his strength because he was exhausted fighting Doc Ock and then knocked them out. There is literally no feasible way a mob could beat him to death unless Peter wanted them to (which is ridiculous). Even if he didn't want to hurt them he could just easily push them back and jump away, heck, he'd have to actively ignore his spider-sense and literally force himself to stay there for crying out loud (his spidersense is a reflex reaction which would make his body jump away from the danger on its own unless he consciously forces himself to stay there) If they wanted to add a shock "hero got beaten to death by the very people they wanted to protect" moment, Spiderman is pretty much one of the dumbest choices imaginable

My main thing is that Peter was in a scuffle with a thug once and the guy broke his own hand. How? He punched Peter. Legit. Peter didn't know how potent his new inhuman strength was at that time so a guy basically destroyed their entire hand by punching him in the chest. Peter didn't even need to fight back, he just needed to stop allowing himself to take damage.

He doesn't like vigilantes in masks running around the city doing what they want. I've always felt his stance was more in line with the Superhero Registration Act. I'm pretty sure he just wants Spidey unmasked. Any instance of Peter revealing his identity to him hasn't really led to anything catastrophic and he hasn't tried to kill him after finding out. Of course, Scorpion being stuck in the suit and getting murderous was a direct result of his own actions, and the Spider Slayers are his fault too, I think those are just examples of him accidentally going overboard.

Seeing the difference between the setinal designs reminds of a theory I had about a secret weakness: The Lang Setinals look an awful lot like the Kree centurion probe that got taken down by the Fantastic Four. If that was used as the basis for the upgrades then they might still have Kree override comands lurking in their basecode. And if that's true then anyone with a good handle on the Kree language and acsess to old commands (say, Captain Marvel) could take control and tell 'em what to go do with themselves.

Likely Thor just bails. Dude's all about justice but if America falls into a Fascist Regime, it's not really his place to start a war over it. There's a lot of worlds to fix that invite him there. This is a different time, Thor isn't who he is as an older man - this took many years of interaction away. This slow creeping evil might've alienated from friends he might've made, people he might've sworn to. Then add the Civil War level ideology differences and suddenly he's sort of sitting ringside waiting for everyone to grow some sense. Ghost Rider is probably still doing his job, but he's fighting more cosmic threats and vengeance issues, facing down sinners like serial killers and nasty stuff. This stuff might be evil but people voted it in, he's not exactly gonna go punch the president over mutants. He's a good guy, but you can't fight city hall with a skeleton face. Doctor Strange still needs to stitch the universe together, even if his own planet is falling apart. Sure, the Sentinel's present a HUGE threat, but not so much that Ghost Rider, Thor, or Doctor Strange need to worry about them more than say, Dormammu. They are essentially elected representatives of congress doing their dirty work. Strange could wipe out Sentinels in a hot minute, but should he? Should he install himself as a fascist dictatorship instantly making himself as villainous liberator? Why should any of them stop there, why not go to Rwanda and stop apartheid or start "fixing" the middle east? This gets very messy because the U.S. government falling apart changes things. Meanwhile they've got real horrors to fight, objective evils. Dormammu, Sinister still likely kicking around, literal demons and invading space horrors. Where's Carol Danvers? Fixing stuff in space. Guardians of the Galaxy? Fixing stuff in space. America is just one country, it can evaporate faster than Magneto making Wolverine shoot himself in the face with a plastic gun.

I have one thing that always bothered me where people complain about the paradox thing. If one bit of history occurred moment A. You go back in time and change it to moment B. The argument is well if A didn't happen you could have never gone back to create B...but what if moment A is a moment that did happen _ONCE_ In short when you change the future there's no requirement for it to exist as a result of A reoccurring. It happened in that isolated moment. In short even though moment A is gone and replaced with B it no longer needed the existence of A all together as it was a defined moment already done. It's like if A was just a layer and B was placed on top of it. Basically the original timeline happened up until that moment and then became overwritten. It would mean that history is not fixed but fluid. Traveling back in time doesn't erase, it overwrites but the data is still there. The only other loop hole is meeting yourself and you can always create some rule that meeting yourself causes some messed up sh!t or maybe forces you to merge into yourself, I dunno.

It's likely just that time doesn't work how you want it to. Go back in time, do a good deed, super hitler shows up. Some things are inevitable conflicts, some things don't have the significance you thought they would. Throwing a boulder in a river doesn't always divert the flow, sometimes the rock rolls, sometimes the river goes UNDER the rock, sometimes it flows another way. She went back, this didn't work, and now they're in multiple timeline hell. Two steps forward, one step back. They're struggling to fix it and using guesses and ideas, and maybe it's true. Maybe paradox's have the kind of nuance where they're reflexive, maybe grandfather paradox's happen in specific circumstances or by certain mechanisms of time travel. Even when they get it right, they don't always "know" their theory worked, just that something worked and they leave it the hell alone after. Life's confusing.

And they've *all actually been changed.* Rob says "You'll find a playlist" but *they don't actually put the playlist in.* And that damn description is textbook SEO. Wrap in cables, throw into space. I love the hulk, I really really do, but the moment he's in the air he's totally vulnerable. One ill-timed jump and he's gonna get towed by a rocket into space, and sentinels all have rockets. Might take 150 nets, might take 150 sentinels, but they have a nearly infinite amount. They can wrap him up like a cat in a yarnball and keep stringing lines. Even if he falls out, they have the entire trajectory of him falling to correct. Two fly by, high speed cable ropes him - two more fly by in .3 seconds. He's fast but he's not, "Rocketship" fast, 150 cables coming at him attached to two sentinels 25 in a row, enough are gonna wrap. Make it sticky, and it's GG. Not, "I can't get it off" sticky but, "this is freakin' annoying" sticky. He can rip them once he gets his hands on them, but that takes admin - and robots don't fumble with their fingers. He's also Banner half the time, as long as you don't anger him and surprise him, you can get the drop on him and sedate him. Modern iterations are starting to make him far more durable and achieving that "level" we want him to be at, which is like... "Unstoppable". But he'll always be vulnerable to engineering and Sentinels happen to not get tired or frustrated. You find a way to make a concussive beam like Cyclops and he has absolutely no defense once he's in the air. Pretty sure if they sent 300 sentinels to just grab him and fly away, he couldn't shred them fast enough. He needs something to pivot off, something to squeeze, or something to tear apart. A sentinel grabbing his leg might get winged and it tears that sentinel's arm off just by whipping back and forth, but imagine 4 of them. He can't kick, punch, and wiggle enough to get out of that if they don't care... and there's 25 more underneath him in a queue ready to take him higher, higher and higher. There's other ways too. His crutch is that he has to be real mad, which takes time. If this is move 1 it takes a while to anger him fully. He'll survive in space, but that's an X if he won't be back for 1000 years. It is just a list after all, if he's off the playing field he's off. Heck, they could've just convinced him somehow. The mutant situation is bad, real bad, and Banner's a serious good guy but who are you gonna punch? The president? How do you solve that with fists? His work in radiation is important too, not as important as modern civil rights movements sure, but that's his specialty. While this is happening the world is falling apart, the same evils arrive, the same battles are being fought. He's still as worried as ever at the possibility of killing too many people on the sidelines and he has to keep the hulk in control, who wouldn't really care that much. Sure, there's friends of Bruce and the Hulk, but by that same token he doesn't want to murder people. This is grounds for War, but the mutants are agreeing to it. They're dying quietly. Bruce might not even know how dire it is. And you only need to keep him busy, which isn't hard since half his time is spent keeping in control of both his halves. And in the end, he might've just been depressed. How exactly do you fix this without killing a LOT of people? This kind of fascism is terrifying in these books, it's not so easy to fight a government regime elected by the people. It should terrify anyone. No one is strong enough to overpower that with their fists. It just takes, "more". ... but my theory I choose is space, it's not hard to beat the hulk. It just hurts the heart to think about it. He's gonna get his day sooner or later, really, we all love The Hulk as a concept. If Marvel cinema taught us anything, it's that he's probably the most lovable avenger. They're *slowly* making him make sense. Worldbreaker was awesome, but he's always kind of goofy since no matter how strong you are, you still need your feet on the ground or else you spin like a top. His weakness is physics. Sure he somehow broke NYC by stepping on it (questionable) but that was when he was SUPER DANG MAD and it was both Banner + Hulk who were angry for their own reasons and together, finally. This era banner would likely want peace, hulk would want WAR, and so you only ever get half of what you need and half what you don't. So getting him off the list isn't that hard to conceive of. Even if he's that character we all want to think more highly of. They're getting there.

First off, no. His inability to fly is not an issue. He can not be wrapped up in cables and tossed into space. There is no cable strong enough to even offer momentary resistance for him. Your assumption that he needs time to get angry is also very wrong he can and often does manifest at planet destroying levels of str from scratch. The nimrods cannot counter him, there is no way for them to counter physical force so powerful it defies and breaks the laws of physics on a regular basis. The hulk has broke adamantium multiple times after all, all of this is without mentioning he wouldn't be alone at the onset of the fight. Just Thor and hulk together would completely surpass anything that the sentinels could hope to achieve.

He probably would’ve said something snarky and then peace’d out. 😂 Given the context of the story however, I’m willing to believe they just wanted to use Spider-Man as a plot device to show how lame the world had gotten. It was gonna be something like this or Spider-Man, making that same old played out heroic sacrifice.

Dang Rob, you always make the best correlations. Michael from Godfather... Perfect. I was the littest brother by 8 years of my older brother who always saveged me. I always wished that since the mcu used inhumans as the mutant replacement in universe, that the prejudice issue would’ve been explored more, with inhuman dogs being used to hunt them down. They have poly-tectic adaptive materials that absorb almost any inhuman powers. They have brain washing capabilities, and even the capability of making LMD style robots, or even synthezoid organic hybrid inhuman robots with multiple powers. This hybrid could be given technology from the deathlok program to make it stronger, faster, and heal from most wounds, along with technology from project destroyer of worlds giving them the ability to turn their body into anything they touch. This could be manipulated to protect against inhuman abilities. Lastly, they could just steal the inhuman invulnerability power making the inhuman dog invulnerable to almost all inhuman powers in general. Hive had this ability. That would have made inhuman arcs in the mcu more interesting. They could’ve teamed up with inhumans on the moon.

There is another Alternate Reality that happens in What if vol 2 no 114 that is on Earth 9811. I guess this is the 3rd variation on this destopian world.

How her power works is the further the prediction the harder it is for her to see. If it is within the day she sees it perfectly. If it is years down the road then she has a maybe. She has seen distant futures but it's not all of the details. It's like she sees in 15 years there will be a wild fire that carries over into a major city. 100,000 will certainly die. Toad was there and survived. Guess he has something to do with starting the fire.

This is why I need to read the source material. As I watch this video and the focus is on the mutants and heroes dying, I am asking myself “ Where is Apocalypse? Where is Dr.Doom? Where is Kang, or Ultron even??? And my final question is why hasn’t there been an A.I. war? Sentinels vs Ultron vs JARVIS ??? This could come out as another result of the “Days Timelines” potentially.

Slight correction Forge's mutant power is he can create with technology anything he can conceive (and the necessary tools to make it if it doesn't exist) He also has magic powers that he rarely uses (and rarer still come up in the comics because of Marvel's concern about racial tropes)
