not nearly as powerful as tony and Steve putting aside years of animosity and riding into battle together one finale time. That's one of the reasons I like stand alone titles so much. You're not held down by decades of continuity, and killing off characters holds actual weight since characters can stay dead until your done playing with that particular universe.

I love this closure to Civil War. I really hoped they continued this story line where the new generation of superheroes get their powers back somehow. The sacrifice of the two leaders unified a nation again. Dammit, that's more tragically beautiful than Steve Rogers getting 3 shots to the chest.

Since watching the Civil War movie, I am daydreaming about how the MCU would look like if the war would just never end. Got some images in my head of Tony Stark becoming a kind of dictator, a scary version of himself. Dressed in his Iron Man suit from the neck down and a cape. Next to him are Pepper, War Machine, Vision and Spider-Man (now in the Iron Spider suit) standing on a podium looking down on a gathering of people all doing the "Stark Salute" (holding the hand in the air like when Iron Man fires his repulsor). In the air, an army of Iron Legion suits, Hulkbusters and Helicarriers and the national anthem ("Shoot To Thrill" from ACDC) is playing in the background. Meanwhile in Wakanda, Captain America, Winter Soldier, Black Panther, Falcon, Ant-Man, Widow, Hawkeye and Scarlett Witch are gathered in a cave, looking like a rag tag group of rebells. Chills! Really want to make a fanfiction out of that now. To bad I can't draw these images. But feel free to add to the image of you like. XD

pranav ganesh We know the Civil War is not over yet and will go on atleast until the end of phase 3. So I don't think Tony just decides to keep it cool, only because Steve wrote him a nice letter. The ending of the movie could very well be interpreted as Tony going full war now. I believe either Black Panther or Infinity War 1 will start with Iron Man and the United Nations invading Wakanda. I'm hoping for a huge Avatar-like battle scene.

I noticed a Ghost Rider in one of the panels. Honestly, based on what happened during the events of Vicious Cycle, World War Hulk, and Heaven's on Fire I kind of have trouble believing that there'd be a civil war at all with him there. He's hax, and he's capable of dropping people like they're nothing if Zarathos takes control. Assuming of course that it's Johnny and not Danny, but even then the Hellfire nuke would wipe out anyone with a guilty conscience and end the battle probably in minutes. Unless I'm remembering things wrong of course. But that's just me being nitpicky about Ghost Rider being involved in anything as a background character. Any character that can make Dr. Strange shit himself in fear should probably be treated with as much respect and attention as Thor. (Especially if you consider the cartoon canon when Danny dropped Galactus of all people with a Penance Stare)

2:33 I found Miriam Sharp getting assassinated to have been VERY cathartic, considering when it came down to it... this was all her fault. A woman who wanted to have her cake and eat it too... the woman who pushed Tony to get the Super Hero Registration Act going yet was MORE than happy to egg Wolverine on to find and kill the people responsible for her son's death. She was a unfeeling manipulator using her child to get recognition and deserved what she got in this alternate timeline.
