He's not dead, he and the pre-new 52 superman fused together to form the superman you see in this same story arc. Did you not watch the superman reborn complete story? Hence the costume differences if you haven't noticed. He has New 52's superman's red boots and shade of blue while keeping pre - new 52's open neck suit style and the belts merged. I honestly prefer the blue boots that pre-new 52 superman wore in the early DC rebirth arcs though

Charziken909 yes they do they have chemistry and superman sees everyone as equal regardless if they have powers or not, which says a lot about him, he admires lois personality and strenght of character a lot which is why they make more sense together. ww and superman is like putting the two powerful and hottest couple together without anything extra. seems pretty shallow to me.

Well let me help you a bit, you have Superman and Supergirl who probably need little explanations. You'd know Steel (John Henry Irons), who first appeared during the 90s following the 'then' Death of Superman. I don't read about him much, but he's got a power armored of unique metal which is currently integral to the Metal storyline. Lex Luthor became Superman in the new 52 after the death of the n52 one, retcons imply he took on the role sometimes after Superman went hiding to raise Jon. Lana Lang became Superwoman after receiving powers from a solar flare, before the retcons that flare came from the death of N52 Supes, post retcon idk. Kong Kenan is created based on a Chinese project to replicate the Justice League, alongside their versions of Batman and Wonder Woman. He's a pretty cool character in his own series "New Super Man". In case you're confused about the retcon I'm talking about you should check out Comicstorian's video with Mr Mxyzptlk in the Rebirth.
