I'm one of the few that liked the new 52.

I liked new 52' superman. but I've really only read Teen Titans in general, with thee 2000's being my favorite. The new 52's teentitans lost a lot of the character points that the Titans have always done. so that made me sad.. It was a lot of just haphazard action instead of character lead. but I liked the characters they made up for it. I hope they take those characters but write it more carefully like the older ones. Rebirth sounds like they're goign to keep parts of new 52 and combine it with the old one I'm hoping they get the ratio great. I do wish they had just kept both supermans. It would have been cool for the old "perfectly good" superman to be a bit of a father/mentor for the younger more impulsive but good natured superman of the 52

the Isle of the new 52 to death I have all of the books except for the weaker ones well the ones I thought were weaker but not that many and Aquaman was amazing in The New 52 so was Grant Morrison's run on Action Comics The Green Lantern stuff oh my God it was amazing I can understand how nobody likes it when it comes to Green Lantern they really didn't change anything everything that happened before the new 52 was still can and so I don't understand why people didn't like the new 52 it was so damn good

Great video as always, Comicstorian. There were 6 moments that stood out to me while watching this video and other videos about this storyline: The reveal of 3 Jokers in this timeline, Aquaman proposing to Mera on the same location where she almost killed him, Damian Wayne turning 13 which teases a future Teen Titans storyline, Barry Allen saving Wally West, the potential crossover with the Watchmen and the reveal of Dr. Manhattan creating the New 52 reboot. If I ever get into comics, this one will the first of a couple that I read first. This is gonna be an interesting storyline.

Both Wally Wests are the real Wally. They both existed in the same universe, but DC never showed the New 52 Wally before Flashpoint so people believed that he was a "fake." Both Wally's are actually cousins that were named after their grandfather.

The thing about them being cousins is an obvious retcon, if fans hadn't hated black Wally the real one would have probably never come back, be honest with yourself.

Ify Nsoha-_- ... 1) The black Wally was already around before the Flash TV show. 2) DC made it clear that their cousins so that's that. Black Wally was loved and hated, exactly how some fans loved and hated the fact the original Wally returned. Besides, the original Wally returned to a) continue the story, and b) to answer questions that were made because of New 52, like "What happened to everyone?" (Ex. Where did the "original" Wally go? Why isn't Green Arrow and Black Canary together? Why do some heroes have different origins? Etc.)

I think he was saying that in the original timeline that they were cousins but in this time line he took his place.

because usually in the past, Speed force powered people didn't use other speed force people as a tether. IT really isn't good to mix speedforces, that usually resulted in power loss, or both being sucked away, or killed. also. for Wally, Barry was dead long time, and even when he came back they didn't team that often honestly. He was never "equal" to barry in his eyes, he had a serious issue with never feeling like he lived up to it, and he had that problem for al ong time. Especially at the age he was at in this comic. Being time torn apart tends to blur's ones thought processes so he really could only focus on specific things at once. So his trail of thoughts didn't go to barry at first. not until he gave up and just wanted to see his mentor and thank him. On the cousins bit. Its a trick of the timelines. THey were cousins in his timeline, but then when he was taken out and deemed "not useful to my plans" the other cousin fell into place

With most of these Complete Story videos, they always seem to start differently from the actual comic. As In I bought this issue before watching and the watch stuff was at the beginning, as well as some things being there and not being there. I noticed this with a few videos. These are still awesome and helpful but I just wanted to point that out

Er... to poitn out, Rebirth isn't a reboot, from what seems to be happening. It's basically a new direction. Hell, if anything, it's REVERSING reboots.
