i think john was doing the right thing, he was never a super hero. He wasnt even a good father but he choose to take responsibility on her daughter instead of taking revenge. Batman is a very cool hero, but he was never a good father. Ironically, batman was even worse than John. His entire life was focus on crime fighting career rather than doing his job as a father.

I understand that with Dr. Fate's powers his involvement in the war had to be limited for them to drag out the story but I wish there had been more of him... He's one of the most interesting and powerful characters in DC, at least in my opinion.
