I love the energy between the brothers. They obviously love each other but they like and respect each other too. I can imagine that they can be jokers at times. I am estranged from most of my siblings and so to see this interaction between these two brothers really resonates with me. Oh and yes, your music is amazing on all levels. The first song I ever heard by you guys was "Without You" - such raw emotion shared between Luke and Courtney. I knew right then and there, this was a musical experience I wanted to learn more about. As a result, so many of your songs have driven my day, calmed my pain, bolstered my joy... Definitely in my top 3! You have done an amazing job spreading the message of the Father's hope to North America - for which I am grateful (in a selfish way), but I am happy you were able to go home and share. I have been following you guys from the start, and never thought I would see you in Melbourne. I'm going through chemo at the moment and seeing you in concert was on my bucket list, so I was starting the process of working out how to fly to the US of A to catch a concert somewhere. Then out of the blue I here your coming to Melbourne. I was given tickets by my daughters for Christmas and the concert turned out to be a couple of days after one of my 3 day sessions of chemo. I was very tired but you managed to lift me up and blow me away at the same time. Thank you

So i must say that lately I have been having different emotions because today is my grandfathers birthday and my grandma sent me pictures of him happy and i lost him in October due to alzheimers and the song joy and burn the ships means alot to me because of the struggles I face in not showing it to others. I love your music and your home country of Australia! While writing and researching a book about a two month trip I took to Oz to celebrate the new millennium, I learned an interesting fact about Australia. Every mammal native to Australia, native being the key word, is marsupial. In Mt. Iza, Queensland there's a museum that features prehistoric marsupial lions and tigers that carried their young in a pouch like kangaroos do. "An American in Oz" is all about Australia from an American perspective. It gives a strong sense of place for Americans. Australians love it too! :)
