Dr. John (Jack) A. Beck is a scholar, educator, and writer with extensive experience in biblical geography. He has a PhD in theology and Old Testament from Trinity International University and is an adjunct faculty member at Jerusalem University College in Israel. His passion is to make the wisdom of the Bible understandable to Christians, and he has been writing on the topic of biblical geography for more than sixteen years, both within and outside of the Middle East.

When I'm reading the Bible, I always have a map of the Holy Land, Middle East, Mediterranean with me for reference. I look forward so much to this series so that I can understand the physical world that is described in the Bible and how that relates to the message.

Jerusalem is mostly important to Christianity because that is where Jesus Christ was brought to occasionally as a child, preached to the poor in his adult life, crucified in the end of his life, and resurrected by God. Jerusalem city of God🙏✝️💖
