My son is now 16 but about a year ago we had this same conversation. I don’t care who my child love as long as they are happy and treated well by the other person. My love for them is never ending. So I gotta say you have a good mom. I want to know where y’all are from, and how old you are? I’m sorry about Blake I truly am. I worry about my son because he’s liked a few guys on line. I told him he needs to meet people in the real world. But I preach to him about not giving him self to just anyone cuz once you do you can’t get that back. And his love is just to special.

The silence that my daughter may have noticed coming from me would have only been because I was processing how to not make her feel like I love her any less. I wanted to proceed very carefully because she seemed very confrontational when she told me as if she expected me to react in a certain way. It made me sad that she expected me to come for her or something because I've never been that way. But it's like the mom said you have a lot of things already planned out in your head about your child's life and you have to adjust that. The only thing I was worried about was I did not want anybody to ever say anything cruel to her that might hurt her because I know my daughter and wants you to decided to come out she was going to come out 100% with no holding back and I know how cruel people can be. And I didn't want people she loved to hurt her. So that's the only reason that I might have been silent but she hasn't said that I was yet I feel like I was for longer than normal like maybe a minute? I'm not the silent type so being silent for a minute could seem like a very long time 2 one of my kids. I was also thinking about what was she going to expect me to do regarding the rest of the family. was she going to ask me to keep a secret or was she going to be open just things like that's what was going through my mind. But not all parents react well. When her best friend came forward about feeling her gender identity was male instead of female her family absolutely and cruelly rejected her and the verbal abuse was non-stop until she finally was able to get herself emancipated. I say she in reference to how it began and how we've known this person all the way through grade school and Junior High . In real life we began using "he" in reference to my daughter's friend.
