They just shipped Merlot to me today (I told them they could just throw it in w/my Country order from yesterday). I’m hopeful that I’ll have it in time. So far, the CC & TF candle is burning well & it’s strong. Will keep you all updated. 😊

Ughh, I was 5 candles into your video thinking "eh, it doesn't sound like there's going to be one I want", but then you brought out the PB&J and that instantly changed lol. However, then you said pairing it with Jelly Donut would be great, and while that indeed sounds true, it would require me (and surely many others) actually having been able to purchase it in the first place.. Kringle apparently didn't think it was a good idea to restock it for National Donut Day either? 😑 So disappointing! I thought for sure today was the day for a nice surprise.. anyone out there have a backup of a backup of a backup that they don't really need??

Yes, I think we need to petition to have Jelly Donut become part of the main line. It is SO good. I will say that on cold sniff, I actually think the Merlot candle would compliment it really well too. Another good pairing would be BBW Raspberry Rose too.

Such an interesting grouping of Reserves! I'd be interested in knowing if the caramel note in CCF turns scorched or not. I'm also interested in knowing how Merlot differs from Harvest Vineyard and Californian Cab. I look forward to your reviews! 💜

Thanks for the feedback! I am definitely looking for that “scorched” note when I’m burning the CC & TF candle & will make sure to share those thoughts in my review. I haven’t had Harvest Vineyard or CA Cab, so I won’t be able to make that comparison. They did ship my replacement today so I’m hoping I’ll have it in enough time to do a review prior to launch.

Wow, first one looks delicious. These all look interesting. Ok, exciting news, yesterday at BBW I bought a ton of body wash, a few shampoos, one body spray, and a few room sprays. I spent $238.08 but saved $478.35! This was insane lol. I'm heading on Monday to finish off the SAS and making a trip to Big lots with a 20% off coupon. I have a $10 off $50 coupon with Ulta and fingers crossed they have the carnival collection in store. Poor candle was injured, bummer :( If I were into wax burning, I'd chop that one up and melt it.

Yes, I was too nervous about the broken glass that I wasn’t able to save the Merlot wax. Thankfully, a replacement is on the way!

@@katiesjoyfullife Awesome! That's great customer service. I've broken a few Yankee ones and what I remember was burning Yankee's single wick in a large apothecary jar of Sea Salt & White Sage for Christmas a few years ago. Thank goodness I was able to burn it.

Great video and thanks for your first sniff impressions. I’d love to hear your post burn thoughts on your top 2 picks first. The Kringle Reserve gourmands always seem to sell out so quickly so any feedback is always appreciated especially before the release date.

Yes, I will most definitely have post burn reviews up prior to the launch for those two. Gourmands are the most popular scents across all of the brands, so I’ve already started burning those to get some thoughts on. 😊

The first time I ordered Goose Creek I returned all 4 candles because they all smelled like plastic. About a year later I gave them another shot and ordered Tiki Party and Blueberry Cheesecake. Great experience with both. I just don’t like how hit or miss they are :( it’s not like bath and body works where I can go to a store and smell them before purchasing

My pre-order arrived yesterday and I have my first impressions video up soon this morning! I only ordered 3 of the 6 scents with a couple doubles but yeah not sure how I feel about them on cold but definitely can change once burning! 😊

Yes, I always try to squeeze in a few burns before completely dismissing a fragrance because they can smell better (or worse 😳😂) while burning.

I honestly can’t give a comparison because I haven’t burned that one, although I sniffed it in store. Going off of memory, I would say this PB & J has a slight sweetness from the grape/raspberry accords. However, upon burn, the natural nuttiness is more dominant than other notes, which is why I’d say this is more of a savory scent. I think the HW one was more Jif/Skippy PB but this one seems more like a natural PB.

Thanks for sharing the Summer Reserve. BTW: do states other than CA no longer observe Daylight Saving time (DST)? This video mentions the release is “Eastern standard time”. Thank you. 🌞

You’re welcome. I think CA voted to not observe it any more, but their legislators thought it was a silly idea & they still observe it (my sister & lots of family still live there). We actually don’t observe it here in AZ. We are on PST in the late Spring & Summer months, but we don’t “Fall back,” so in the late Fall & Winter, we are on MST.

@@ReillyWilde last I checked, Massachusetts observes Daylight Savings Time & since Kringle is based their, that’s when their launches happen. For me, I just know that in the Spring & Summer, we’re 3 hours behind. In Winter, we’re 2 hours behind. 🤪
