We don't have Remastered version, sadly but: * There is one interesting project "GenTool" - it fixes bugs, unlocks FPS and higher resolution. * You may download HD models from "Project Raptor" (if I'm not mistaken) * There is also a "Enhanced mod" - it tries to enhance the graphics. And yes - Generals works perfectly on modern Windows (with some small manipulations)! Tested on Windows 10 x64 PRO (1909 build 10.0.18363.752)

Things get crazier when you install mods. Call in the GLA bomber to ram into the ground amidst enemy units, or use white phosphorous to make mockery of the Geneva convention. Plus you also get blood and gore, and dismembered limbs flying around. I love this game!!!

When I played GLA, my main faction, I would place a sniper outside my friend's bunker. Never knew why he didn't have units. I would also get the sniper to jack on of his builders and build another stealth base and use "his" units to atack him. Worked lile a charm every time.

I grew up on Command & Conquer! I've played every game in the series, (Even the FPS literally based around one, single unit in the first game) - from the original all the way up to Generals: Zero Hour. When they began to bring back the series with Red Alert 3 and Tiberium Wars 4 however, I did sort of fall out of love with the franchise. The best thing about that era was seeing "Nature Boy" Ric Flaire beat up a Russian bear in the commercials.

I have a simpler solution: * Download a Repack of Zero Hour * Install it * Download a Documents folder for Zero Hour (game sometimes couldn't create it itself on new systems) * In Compartability tab of Properties set "Run as Administrator" and "Compartable with Windows XP SP2" * Play! If game still could start - delete file "dbghelp.dll" from game directory. If you want more bugfixes, better resolution and unlocked framerate - google "Zero Hour GenTool".

Generals was so much fun. One of my favourite things was kitting Humvees with TOW missiles, 3 snipers and 2 infantry with grenades. A few of these bad boys and you'll pretty much take out any threat. Snipers one shot kill all infantry, TOW for vehicles and grenades to clear buildings

Red alert 2 is most definitely my favorite. Specifically the Expansion Yuri's revenge. Though I love 99% of the games in the series alot. (We don't talk about 4. Ah shit I did it anyways) Also you should give the rise of the reds mod. It adds in the Russian and European continental Army into the game.

Command and conquer Red Alert on Ps1 was possibly one of my highest of memories as a child watching my father play it until I had to go to bed. Then proceeding to wait patiently in bed until I hear the old school fuzz turn of on the TV in the lounge room and hear the door click to my parents room, I would then proceed to quickly sneak out to turn the tv on so it didn’t have time to cool down and make too much noise before I start playing red alert at 3am... ah I miss my childhood.
