I never even played RA1, I'd played the first C&C, on the Saturn, but didn't play another C&C game until RA2. Carville is one of the best characters in RA2, if not the best. I've only found out today that he was in Retaliation. And I'm watching these scenes for the first time. Good times.

This was before such narrative was ever written they had not considered it yet

Red alert 3 begins at the end of red alert 2. They go back in time and erase einstein. Doing this rewrites history without nukes or any of the events of red alert 1 and 2.
