The moment you I dive, the sub becomes 'nocomm'. I know something must be causing this as if I refresh a new scenario and add a sub, there's no issue. There's no literature on this

when a sub becomes Nocomm that means 'no communication' It can't speak to you, and you can't speak to them, and you need to signal them to come up to a depth or onto the surface to re-enable communications. Radio does not travel through water.
