Most forget that Marisi also shuts down opponents' spells during combat, which means if you cast removal during combat it cannot be stopped by counters or protective spells. I think this part deserves some notes.

Commander quarters made a budget Atla deck that centers around rubbing changelings, free sac outlets, and then going through your entire deck.

I will note after playing the decks out of the box. the precon has insane card draw.Since I was populating so many big creatures, causing card draw I ended up winning with my deck empty. out drawing all the others. Sot totally impressed with the pre con and how ghired was able to turn big boys into dumb levels of card draw.

If I am not mistaken, isn't Heat Shimmer a kind of nonbo with Populate since if you populate that Heat Shimmer token it also copies the text that says "At the end of turn, remove this permanent from the game"?

Sorry, not gonna work. From rulings on Ghired: "Although the token is an attacking creature, it was never declared as an attacking creature. This means that abilities that trigger whenever a creature attacks won’t trigger when it enters the battlefield attacking." The token is created when Ghired attacks but the effect will not occur when the token etb tapped and attacking..

Why doesn't Duelist's Heritage and Sword of the Animist work with Tahngarth? the text on Tahngarth sais that it would be attacking that player or planeswalker. Is attacking not considdered as an attack?

Correct. An attacking creature had to declare an attack whereas Tahngarth never was declared but is just an attacking creature. Folks abuse this kind of thing with Kaalia and OG Rakdos to dodge the attack trigger.

@@ms.sysbit5511 that's just silly. And the language around it is in that case very confusing. Duelist's Heritage even uses the same word as Tahngarth: "attacking".

Restlesssoul-alex but he is attacking but never actually attacked. Maybe it’s easier with a synonym. Tahngarth used an effect to be put into a position where he is in combat however he never was declared as an attacker. Without being declared as one he is just in combat not having attacked. Aside: Duelist’s Heritage is white and Tahngarth is RG so it never could have been run in his deck anyway.

Restlesssoul-alex oh, my apologies. I wasn’t sure if you were clear or not. I do agree that the wording is far from ideal and could be better termed. I had the same response when I first learned Kaalia sending Rakdos the Defiler into my face was one-sided. Yeah, I think Tomer/Seth had Naya on the mind and forgot Tahngarth is Gruul. Would be explained by Tahngarth being named second not fourth like previous videos had.

I sincerely want to make Egg tribal, including the two (allowed) artifact eggs. We'll see how many cards have eggs in their artwork that can also go in. Maybe also chickens and Fry?

2Tea i did/do have a egg deck that have all the egg cards and art with egg on them. It’s real time consuming since there are too many cards. And I did have to pick card that is not egg but “fit” the theme like birthing pod. The commander were the nuns dragon from dominaria.

if you populate tokens from heat shimmer youll also copy the words "exile at the beggining of the end step"

Ghired can go infinite with Breath of Fury pretty easily.

@@matthewlugo2417 Cast Breath of Fury on your Rhino, attack with both populating the Rhino, assuming you deal combat damage and both survive you sacrifice the rhino and move breath of Fury to the populated rhino. You get another attack step and Ghired copies the rhino again, and this loops. It requires you to be able to swing Ghired and a rhino and neither die.
