It's always interesting seeing either of the Game Knights guys on a non-Game Knights show and format. As much as I enjoy both shows and can appreciate that amount of work that goes into them, the mid game narration being absent is refreshing

Especially since Game Knights have really weird timing on their editing - you'll see the table for 9/10ths of someone's sentence, then a cut to the face for the very tail end? For a show that puts so much effort into editing, decisions like those are SO weird

I think it makes it less reality show and more playing wit your homies. Both have their appeal. And the cheese on GK is hilarious. But Olivia and Brian’s joined persona of commander has been such a blessing on content as a whole!!

Honestly I love both formats so much even though they are so different in many ways. When I started with commander a year ago Game Knights really helped so so much to understand the cards/what was happening. I would not have been able to keep up otherwise. The more you get into it, the easier it becomes to also follow more casual formats like this one that feel more real in some sense. Both have their place and I hope commander at home will continue to bring out great content like this one! Thanks :)

Jimothy is always great to watch. Such a great vibe. But I do wanna note how fun it is to see Jimmy in Commander content outside of CommandZone and Game Knights. This is not a criticism of their content in any way, but their style is so much more production-heavy and performative, that seeing him in a very casual game and environment with lots of chitchatting is very fun and refreshing!

I've watched Commander games on about ten other channels. Every one of them has a good game on them. But this channel is the one that consistently feels like a real, unscripted Commander game between friends. I mean there wasnt commander but it would just be me and some friends from the neighborhood getting together playing some games and shooting the breeze...you know like kitchen table magic. Its easier to see what is going on with arena...but you lose a lot of what makes magic a great game and that is the comraderie and sharing a hobby that is really freaking fun!
