(In case you're wondering: 2nd best is with Jacks Mono-Red-Random and the best is, hands down, the Azorious-control with divine intervention finish from Seth. I love this deck so much, that i want to build it, just to annoy people. (In that regard i'm really similar to Seth))

Seth's deck has one of my favorite combos. I play biovisionary and mirrorweave in my Pheldagrif group hug deck for a "Happy Friends, Everyone Wins, Group Hug" finisher.

My deck theme OCD is really hurting this week... 1) Moonfolk Tribal, but the commander is not Patron of the Moon or at least a legendary moonfolk, but rather a human? 2) Activated ability tribal, but the commander does not have an activated ability even though there is a 5c commander that does have an activated ability?

naphackDT Yeah, I get that alot, but Sliver Queen is expensice, Cromat doesn't have very interesting abilities (I also don't have one amd can't find one), and Progenitus is a very reasonable, real treat.

My reasoning on Azami being the commander was she helps you draw a bunch of cards which helps you not only find your moonfolk cards but also hopefully answers and lands if need be.

Yeah she's solid draw since most moonfolk are wizards, and she's from the same plane. Personally I'd have gone with Patron because it's more on theme and has strong synergy with the moonfolk mechanic.

I really like Tom as a personality and his reasoning is always sound...but it's almost always him that answers the threat on the table and it's hard to not see him as fun-police party-pooper :(

Have a similar feeling.. It's that one kid in the group who can't stop being competitive while it's obvious the games are on kitchen table level. Makes him look very tryhard which is a shame because he brings lots of good stuff to said table.

Answering threats is what you're supposed to do in the game. You can't just let people get away with whatever they want. SOMEONE has to stop people from getting away with whatever they want. Also, in this case it can't really be helped that his deck just seems better. He didn't make it. They all just picked viewer submitted decks, and it turns out that individual angels are just better than a bunch of random cards thrown together with crazy win conditions, or a deck stuffed with creatures that tap to do something but don't work together at all.

i have an idea for challenge. All 4 of you build decks from the same (less than optimal) collection without being able to have the same card in more than a single deck not sure it would crate intering decks but limiting card selection makes for intering card decision in my experience the "this or that" - series of videos also proof for it.

Couldn´t Tomer have cast Progenitus in all these turns where he complained about only having land ? He had 2 islands, 2 red sources, 2 black sources, a forest and green permanents(to get a green mana) and could have used selvala for 2 white mana.

That's exactly why I didn't cast Progenitus. Progenitus can't block his flyers and I couldn't outrace him, so all it would do is make sure Tom finishes me off.

10 mins in and you don't instantly drop burgeoning to jump straight to 8 mana available. by your next turn why tomer why? Also since 25 mins in you were able to cast Your commander. At 40 you could of cast him and kept the obelisk up. At 48 if he used his lands to play memnarch he'd of had the mana to make anything into an artifact and steal it available while keeping the obelisk up at the same time.

why don't you try playing all the same color week just different commanders so like all RED FEVER WEEK. tomer could play Starke of Rath for jank. tom probably go with Krenko, Mob Boss for a goblin aggro. i could see richard playing Feldon of the Third Path for weird graveyard shenanigans. seth then playing Jaya Ballard, Task Mage for control.

Tr4n515t0r Unfortunately, it only deals damage to target player. I wish it was lightning bolt, but lava spike is serviceable when you can repeatedly do so. It also pings planeswalkers if needed.

Most of us love jank too much to pass them up. My ideal deck is basically optimized jank. Also the deck I chose did have interaction and draw, it just drew poorly (and it could be tuned).

I"ve grown pretty tired of these lopsided commander videos, its almost always Tomer playing really poorly on purpose "for fun" with Tom or Richard utterly crushing him, get in the game, your the weak player out on purpose, it makes the entire video feel pointless and, like I said, lopsided.

You should replace Tom, he always chooses or makes actual decks, which is dumb against moonfolk tribal, and you win the game tribal, and the other silly decks Seth Tomer and Richard play. Richard wins a lot, AND plays jank, while Tom wins a lot playing actual cards, so Richard is obviously better.
