It made the game pretty boring. A lot of attacks could not go through, certain spells had to be used for Avacyn. I would argue the respectful thing to do was not to play Avacyn. Ben even says "My white pool is meh, but I'll play white just for this card." That being said, I'm the player that is more about an interesting game and not mainly winning. So I do understand Bens choice to play that card. It's strong and seeing the game as a competition, he would have been stupid not to play it.

You're correct James. Rather than pay for a draft (which at the store near me was 90 dollars for one person), I bought a box of Baldur's Gate for the same price, and I'll get 2 whole drafts out of it with 4 of my friends.

As a note on the partner conversation during deck building. So many two card combos could be in the command zone that way. My first thought is Kodama of the east tree + meloku, but I'm sure there are plenty of even more broken things to do.

Nelson is incorrect at around 1:50:00, All of the tokens that the Faerie Artisan's make are Artifacts, so that creature may indeed be tapped for Mana.

I had fun at my CMM draft. Value wise it was a bust, but the gameplay was decent and the monocolored partner rule for limited was actually brilliant.

Same here, especially regarding the mono colored rule. There were a couple of players in our pods that happened to pick strong multi colored stuff (think Ur Dragon and Kykar) but almost everyone was making use of it.

I didn't realize they reprinted animal magnetism. Previously only printed in Onslaught, I thought I was pretty smart for finding the old card and slotting it into my deck. I put it in Kathril, another Abzan commander who likes creatures and is ok with things in the graveyard. I remember casting it and having to read it to friends when they all inevitably asked what it was. And then they had a nice little debate on if they wanted me to have the lifelink deathtouch creature or to have it in the graveyard for Kathril to see. Fun stuff!

Faerie Artisan seems sweet until someone casts Phage the Untouchable from their hand and you just lose the game, a real corner case but if it happens to you you'll feel really bad

Jim from spike feeders is kick-starting large dice maybe his manufacturer could do it. 5 colors a full large DND set for each. Would be rad
