Got my Mini to 85.2 KPH last night! I’ll be posting the video later today on my channel. Y’all are awesome! Keep up the good work!!! THIS VIDEO convinced me to buy the Mini. I told Jason at Ewheels. I’ve rewatched this video at least 12 times, at least the riding part not the tear down. This is the best reaction video to at heel I’ve ever seen, that wheel brought so much raw joy to Seb, it’s awesome to see. Allllmmost regretting my purchase of the patton after seeing the sheer childlike joy emanating from you once you got on the mini. But I don't rip at these speeds, I take things a little easier, I'm still content with my choice (plus I'm a big boi who favors low end torque anyway). I'm just stoked that both these wheels are in existence. And tbh I think the begode extreme might blow the brakes off of both these anyway in terms of raw performance. Whatever!. All three of these wheels are truly the next gen, they're all amazing. We've been waiting so long for these rides and they're finally here!

@@scooterontravels6777 In terms of "off the line" acceleration, we have to give it to Patton. but that will depend on rider weight. the commander will top out about 10 kmph faster though.

​@scooterontravels6777 hey Seb here, without a doubt up to 65 km/h Patton accelerates faster. Bottom end torque is incredible with button but the top end on commander is insanity. It's a really hard choice but that being said I I did just grab a Patton for myself.

With a knobby trail tire on it no less! Bet it would rip the street in a sticky street tire!! Only issues are those dowell pin like rods sticking out on the bottom. Could possible snag on a root or shrub during a tight trail ride.. Smooth 3d printed or metal brush guard over that would be great.. Awesome little wheel.. Looks fun and flickable.. Gonna be a fun Small Wheel Summer with this, the Patton and the Extreme!!😊 Great video and review.. Very thorough and great editing!

Would a thin rubber or Plastic gasket in that gap help with the four bolts near axle if not machines closer?

Depends on the hardness of the rubber, it would have to be pretty hard to make a difference. But I think the solution is just to change the design eventually. We will see if this design is okay, as most of the new begode wheels have it. But I know that people are also making aftermarket replacements

The tacit admission that both the Mini and the Patton really should undergo a pre-ride inspection and check for bolt tightness is noted; the QC of all the EUC manufacturers seems to be the common across the board failing in 2023; it will be interesting to see how this aspect develops, if the companies mature sufficiently to recognise the importance of this aspect to their collective and individual reputation.

Yes, always good to go over a new wheel. It does suck that we need to do it, but considering how dangerous these vehicles already are, we don’t mind. For all the new wheels we will inspect this and see if anything has changed in the QC and production line. Thanks for watching and safe riding!! 😊

Overall I really like you guys taking the time to go through the wheel and check everything. But one thing with those suspension tube clamps those should not completely tightened. Coming from motorcycles you have to torque those properly or you can oval the tube and cause the suspension to not work properly.

The wall on these tubes is very thick and solid. No chance of bending these ones, the amount of abuse these wheels take I just snug them up really well. Manufacturers torque spec doesn't hold after a month

I have a question about the battery box. Let's say for instance you have a dent in the side of your Cmini at pedal height..to me it all looks like one piece, or can the outer panel be separated from the two inner rectangular smaller boxes holding the battery cells with the wires coming out? Were super glad you liked that part! Was surprising to us as well considering the lower voltage. It means that it may have a different wind in the motor. More of a torque wind on patton, and a high speed wind on commander (the way the copper is wound inside the motor). and its a Simpson modular Motorcycle helmet!

@@miniwheelmedia because the controller strongly determines the performance of the motor. Especially in the case where both of these motors have approximately the same kv and size. And the controller amp output is different from battery amps.

@@Blox117 well that was my point, how do you know what kv they are? Genuinely curious because I’ve never found this information. And yes phase amps are different than battery amps, but these are RPM controlled motors… so top speed is determined in software… and torque is a function of phase amps as well as KV because if it were a super high KV obviously it would be easier to over torque on the low end.. no?

Going for a new wheel next year, a decade long rider of these things. Don't use them as I did when I was early 30s but I am thinking about this one more and more. Currently riding a over-prized Gotway Nikola Plus as a 4th choice as my life changed when my MSP burned up in my apartment, suffocated my cats and burned me badly (ordered the Kingsong S20 and saw the fire in New work less than a year after the accident. One question, except for rigidity, could you guys tell me if this machine can handle water...for real...my second choice was a Begode hero but the handle lift sensor didn't work at all in just fog...thanks man, love your enthusiasm

Much as I hate to be an apologist, expecting Honda QC in a present day China wheel assembled by $1/hr workers is a bridge too far. Dont get me wrong as I want it but I get I gotta do my due diligence too. That said, seems BG/EB has come a long way & in some ways, design is even better than LK, minor quibbles aside. The Extreme freespins at >110kmh so it maybe the epic wheel with both massive torque & speed. I think you boys should be gettin 1 in a few weeks. Cant wait to see the big unveil!!! I'm rockin the T4 (amongst others) right now & my choice will be either this CoMini or Extreme. Performance is Godly baby. Good vid guys 🤩

You are right, these companies dont have the budget or the team to make a product like honda. That being said our "build quality" raking always seems to go Inmotion - Leaperkim - Begode. But as you said all the designs still have drawacks. I agree that begode may come out on top because of how many versions they make, always making some small thing better. You are wise to wait for extreme! it will be top of our list to review. Thanks for the comment and so glad you enjoyed the video!!!

Max speed for EUCs in Germany is 25km/h and even then it tends to be illegal. I rode my Gotway MCM4 for about 6.000km and got in trouble with the police several times. And compared to what you have the GotWay looks like a toy for beginners.

Toronto, Canada is a lot different it seems. Same with NYC. The rules are not enforced as much, as long as you are being safe
