One of the many reasons I love the clone wars so much, is that it was never afraid to show the brutality of war. Like with Ponds and domino squad, somtimes the people, or in this case characters, that we love and grow attached to can be gone in an instant. Even though the clone deaths were highest in number, they hit me the hardest, and well the deaths are hard, they were arguably one of the best parts of the show.

Commander Ponds was probably one of the most saddest clone deaths because he was a caring and good clone commander that survived the zilo beast and then he is killed and thrown out of the ship like garbage.

Hard to see him go like that, but at least he got to lead the liberation of the entirety of Ryloth from the Separatists, earn the utmost respect from his Jedi General THE Mace Windu, and survived the Zillo Beast, and thankfully didn’t have to live to see what would become of the clone army after Order 66. All in all, a good life and a great service record for our beloved Commander Ponds. R.I.P.

5:30 I still remember when I watched that scene for the first time I was like "Okay, who do we have here? Commander Ponds, Admiral Killian and some unnamed clone Navigation officer.
