I like the patience you show towards your squad leads that are less experienced and need a little coaching. Well done!

Love how you timestamp everything, thank you. Also, do you or will you do a voice over any of your vids to kind of make it into something of a how to, giving your thoughts on your decisions or tactics? Great video, thank you for sharing!
@commandercrane1945 Жыл бұрын
I have had multiple people request me to do that. I did this before in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZoiniKZ8idp4atk&ab_channel=CommanderCrane I plan to do this again sometime. I also plan to make videos of general tips. I try to throw in tips that I think of during videos of regular gameplay too.

@@commandercrane1945 The video you linked is gold. Ofc it is pain to watch because volume levels, but you have that sorted out. Vid with commentary on decision making is most valuable because it is so much easier to play when somebody with experience tell you what to focus on. For example: I wasted SO MUCH time looking for enemy hidden in bushes, ruines etc. Now I know to flank them, not to fight them head on.
@commandercrane1945 Жыл бұрын
@@DonBandi1 I have improved in my video editing since that video, so it was a learning process. Flanking them is important, but only if someone is facing them head on. I've seen plenty of games where everyone tries to flank and no one pushes them directly... Then it is not a flank, it is just pushing them from a different angle, so be mindful of that.

@@commandercrane1945 I'm really enjoying your gameplay and videos, CC. To your point, I've read the US infantry tactics in WWII could be summarized with four Fs: Find, Fix, Flank, and Finish. What do you think of that, would it work in HLL?
@commandercrane1945 Жыл бұрын
@@truthseeker9454 Definitely. Like when you are on Offensive: Find: easy to do, it is where the enemy point is. Fix: Surround that point so that the only spawn they have is the garrison on the point. Flank: Send troops from multiple locations. Finish: Send bombing run to destroy the garrison on point and storm it before they get a new one. It can also be on a smaller scale too where fixing would be someone giving suppressing fire. Flanking would be... flanking who you are suppressing. Finish is, well shooting them.

Some very nice work with that Garand, besides the great job commanding.

Hey man, Would be awesome if you'd be down to do some sort of tutorial video on how to play commander properly. What your early game macro with garrisons is and what to do in 'mid game'. When to use air strikes and bombing runs and all of that. Haven’t seen anyone playing commander like you do, so I think it would be great to pass your knowledge onto the people that are kinda afraid to jump into the commander role themselves, like me. Cheers man, love your content!

At the start of the game, why did you not build a garry in AA network? Instead you continued to build an attack garry at hamlet. I would have backcapped you instantly if i was the enemy commander. Even worse, the garry build after 15minutes on AA was way in the open. This would not have happened if you build it.

I had 4-5 SLs there and I continuously told them to do it.
