Top3 reasons why I cant watch StarCityGames anymore I used to enjoy their videos but one of the dude simply brings decks that are way too overpowered compared to the rest and never points out funny interactions between cards when others have them Like, they won't get an extra on their paycheck for winning, the main idea of the channel is to bring some funny decks, crrative commanders and new interactions to the fans yet some of their games are just too serious and only Stephen and their rookie can get us through it cause their mood won't take a hit from any bs that happens

Since the Colossus (and Josu Vess) are in the graveyard at that point before they enter, they'll actually count for the Colossus' effect, so it would enter with at least two counters. Cool game honestly. Voxy and Amy are always a delight to watch. I first saw them on TCC’s Shuffle Up and Play, and was impressed with how chill they were. They know how to have a good time and not take the game too seriously. I love the EDH channels where it is all chill and casual and not everyone trying to one up each other at every turn.

I just want to say how much I have grown to love this channel ❤️ I have watched SO MUCH in the last couple days 😂 The personality of each and every person that comes on and every deck that's played really shines through! And the table talk that happens in between plays really does make this feel like it's just commander at home 😊 I do have to give a special nod to the sound production because I've noticed that the softness of whispers are brought up and the explosiveness of exciting plays and laughter are compressed nicely and it all just sounds so good to listen to! I love the "ghost turn" at the end. I had no idea that the game continues through the dead players turn! I always thought that the turn ended instantly upon player death, but NOPE! The turn continues without an active player! Super interesting!

This is really neat. I have a "Liliana, Heretical Healer" deck that's just "themed" for having nearly every card that mentions or involves Liliana, including the demons she made pacts with. It's fun, but not always powerful. This was an amazing showing for her deck! Looked like a fun game with lots of normal "Kibler board-state" stress.

The fact that between this and Prof's Shuffle Up, I've seen a Commander KZbin show, where Amy and Voxy are guests for an episode and get blown out in (Basically) one turn by mass immolation twice now is an odd coincidence. Even stranger when considering that Amy was on Xanathar during both occasions as well. Perhaps it's a curse, wouldn't be the first time I've seen a deck cursed by fate.

So while the back side will have a nonzero mana value, it won't contribute to devotion. 712.8e While a transforming double-faced permanent has its back face up, it has only the characteristics of its back face. *However, its mana value is calculated using the mana cost of its front face.* If a permanent is copying the back face of a transforming double-faced permanent (even if the object representing that copy is itself a double-faced permanent), the mana value of that permanent is 0. See rule 202.3b. So only its mana value is derived from the mana cost on the front face. It doesn't get the mana cost as well, so the back face does not contribute to devotion.

It is very true that everyone forgets Shadowspear. I played online with an equipment deck and I was losing badly against a Blue deck with an instant focus. He had many monsters that activated with instants and I was pretty sure he was toying with me near the end. Then I attacked with one creature heavily equipped and he blocked with all his important creatures playing an instant that gave them indestructible... I activated Shadow spear and he lost all of them. Don't toy with your opponents guys, It never ends well.
