Definitely. London Fletcher was our best linebacker we ever had (one of the greatest all-time imo), and he retired still playing at an all-pro level with us at 38 years old. No reason that Wagner can't continue to be a great linebacker for an additional 2-3 years with us. Fletcher was anomaly though, 16 seasons and never missed a game due to injury. Only one of five players to ever have 250 consecutive starts. It's a disgrace that he's not already in the HOF.

@@whoodro7278 I don’t think he’s faking. When he was asked about his injury he said it just happened and the time table is up to the trainers. So he’ll be guided by the training & rehab staff to help him heal. So that doesn’t seem like he’s faking, but wait to see . I would rest him because Hamstrings are a tricky injury & can be a lingering issue if not rested & cared for properly. Only rest can heal a hamstring injury. Sure I know because I had one back in the days. The next week you can feel fine & try to workout but re-injure the hamstring for not resting it long enough. It’s truly a week to week type of injury.

I know he’s had a rough time being depended on to be our #1 corner but to humble himself and get straight to work to sharpen his skills is refreshing.
