K-Def is fucking underrated. This one and Turnaround LPs had put him in my top 10 hip hop producers of all time

Yeah, The Turnaround is ridiculous… Some great 90’s production on that album! Wish more people knew about it… ✌🏻

So with the album done and due to Warner Bros., this song was done at Marley’s House of Hits on evening with LL in the studio. John Doe came to the house early in the morning and woke me to share this amazing track. I ran to the label immediately to share with Peter Edge and the label so we can add this song to the LP. They agreed and we were hoping to release a third single after Come Take A Ride and How Nice I Am provided some support in breaking the group. That opportunity never came unfortunately. While touring with Notorious B.I.G., and Craig Mac up and down the east coast, Warner pulled the plug. Sad day for hip hop. The LP remains a lost gem. Born Pound💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾

@@MichaelPilz1 Ok thanks! I remember when K-Def briefly put the album up on his Myspace, but it was inferior quality to this

They dropped a single around Y2K, then by the mid-aughts (with the height of MySpace) had few dolo joints. But Sev had a solo album, and was doing music up until the early 2K10/teens.
