In most missions, you set an alarm before reaching your objectives. But in this Reverse Engineer mission, you decided to wait til you are almost near your objective before creating an alarm. It is like you were speedrunning this mission with stealth instead of going loud. In this mission, you did what most players will do which is don't create an alarm until the objective is near. Like for example, you waited til you are almost near blowing up the bridge just to create alarms.

That's right, I think unlike some other missions this one became a lot harder after the alarm sounds. But I want to try replaying all missions without triggering any alarms

@@Rtheghost Just like in mission 8, I would not expect anyone to win the whole fight going loud but you managed to beat mission 8 with gun fights and you managed to win with full health intact at the end. In mission 3, I have a way to beat it even if I set an alarm early. I do not have to wait til I am near an objective to set an alarm. For example, instead of using the inflatable boat to travel by water, I cross the bridge. I will have a spy to inject the machine gunner. Then I distract the 5 man patrol and have my marine place the inflatable boat in dry land near the bridge and have my sapper place a trap. That way, I can later busts right in using a front door instead of cutting the fence open. I set an alarm on purpose in mission 3 the say way you set an alarm on purpose on mission 8. So quite possible to do most of them in gun fights in mission 3. If you place the inflatable boat in dry land and the Nazi sees it, they shoot it and check it out. Then marine can keep picking up the inflatable boat and if marine picks it up, inflatable boat is automatically repaired. Then rinse and repeat.
