Nice! 2man was an instant love for me, and a joyful dicovery when first getting into perfumes. I still get transported to clearing out trees, brush - its smoke - in the woods. A for-lifer fragrance imho. File under "signature worthy". ✌

Interesting video - I didn't know about the 2ManVetiver 46 connection. Vetiver 46 doesn't get much love, but it is easily one of Le Labo's most "mass appealing" (and masculine) scents. When I sampled it, I liked the surprising booziness of the vanilla/vetiver combo. Something I also liked in Jo Malone's Vetiver & Golden Vanilla.

Two great vetivers, funny I think when Mark Buxton was given the blurb for vetiver 46 he just tweaked 2Man a bit. Vetivers my favorite note so I’ve got both but prefer 2man. Agree about the ascetic, le labo kind of riffed off on what CDG had done but more mainstream and less Avant-garde. Still need more vetivers,cheers
