Im a comment nerd, once on a critic video critisizing the movie "violent night" i wrote like a 20,000 word paragraph explaining that the plot holes aren't actually plot holes. If you wan tto see what i wrote, this is what i wrote: I think why Santa didnt use any of the weapons of the bandits he killed is just he didnt know how to use them, later in the movie he said "does anyone know how to use these things?" him talking about the M16, also he is only skilled with a hammer, he is probably above average with a knife but the grinch squad is way more skilled than him in using knifes. Why didnt he cast the bag over the bandit, 1, he was just trying to defend himself, he didnt want to forever trap him inside the bag, 2, he could easily escape, even though the sack is bottomless after all he isnt a toy but a human, so he would probably be able to escape, 3, even though the sack is bottomless, that doesnt mean that its sides are infinite, and that bandit could easily climb out. Why do you think that a kid asked for a loaded AK47, 1, thats extremely unlikely, 2, even if some kid did ask for a weapon or loaded gun, 1, Santa didnt know how to use them, 2, even if it was a hammer, by the time he would've found the hammer that bandit would've found him already, time was against him, he didnt have enough time to find a weapon because that bandit was about to find him. You are also asking why couldnt he baricade the door using his superhuman strength, keep in mind, he was drunk, he probably didnt think of that, which is also another answer to all of these questions, you could take away all my arguments and i could still say "because he was drunk" as an answer. They only sent 1 member to find the girl because they didnt think she's a threat, just a minor inconvenience, why didnt Santa tore off part of his shirt, 1, he only had a sweater and tearing off part of it would take a lot more effort than just grabbing the nearest wrapping paper around. When you said why she couldnt shoot him in the legs so Santa couldnt run away, 1,you literally said earlier in video that the bandits were incredibly stupid, 2, she couldnt turn around, and instanty shoot him in the legs, she will definetly miss. Why didnt Santa contact the authorities with the walky talky, 1, you are forgetting the difference between a phone and a portable radio, which you can only talk with someone with the same exact walkie talkie, you cant like dial the authorities on a walky talky unlike a phone. When you said why didnt Scrooge get suspicious when interrogating Santa, have you ever heard of Occams Razor before? If you havent, it says that the simplest explanation is most likely, which is what Scrooge was using, even if someone is very stupid like Scrooge or his goons, you can still use Occams Razor. The kill squad was probably useful, unlike in every movie where the main character takes out like 100 skilled people, this actually made sense, 1, Santa picked them off 1 by 1, 2, Santa is a norse god with his main weapon, and why he couldn't run away from the shed when the kill squad was coming, 1, he felt bad for that girl, we saw that earlier in the movie, 2, once again, he was probably drunk and didn't think of that, 3, the house and shed was probably surrouned, 4, even if it wasnt surrouned, the kill squad had long distance machine guns, they could kill Santa in an instant. Why couldnt they set the shed on fire until the roofed caved in, the bandits are just stupid, also a grenade causes a lot of sound and will cause the attention of authorites, also how do you know they had hand grenades the entire time? Maybe only that guy had a hand grenade. By your own logic, it makes sense why they didnt take away the walky talky from the little girl, because its just a toy that cant contact anyone. Why isn't at the end the last member of the kill squad hasnt already shot Santa like 15 times already, SO HAS IN EVERY OTHER MOVIE WITH A VILLIAN, 1, he is stupid, 2, thats a problem with every movie villian, 3, Santa was shot a bunch of times in fact he literally died, and the faith of these people ressurected him specifically because they didnt see Santa's supernatural abilities, because if they did see Santa use supernatural abilities, that would be knowledge and not faith, and that would not work in ressurecting Santa, a similar thing happenend when in lotr Gandalf and the Balrog killed eachother. Why did Santa charge at Scrooge when he was literally yelling at him to charge at him, probably because Santa was filled with rage, also at that exact moment he might have been a little drunk, but at the last moment he stopped being drunk, also why did Scrooge empty all his ammo, 1, he didnt see where Santa was, 2, he was an idiot, and why did he start 1v1ing santa who is a norse god, how the heck was he suppose to know that, he is Santa, the old man who delivers presents to kids on christmas, the last thing Scrooge would expect Santa to be is an experienced norse viking god. You might also be asking how does Santa not know how his own magic works, do you use computers and phones? Yes. Do you know how they work? No, same thing with Santa, he just uses his magic, he didnt create it. Also why did Santa not try to find a cell phone to contact the authorities, earlier in the movie one of the bandits tore the wires, which means there is no internet connection, and if you're thinking "Santa could just use the emergency call because it works without internet" no he can't, 1, he probably couldn't even reach a cellphone, 2, he didnt know the password, 3, even if he knew the password he was drunk and didnt think of using the emergency call, 4, even if he wasn't drunk he still doesnt know about the emergency call, 5, he would first, try to use the regular phone system in a phone, after seeing that it doesnt work, he would probably assume that the emergency call also doesnt work, not to mention he was extremely drunk the entire time, and all of this is also accounting that he found a phone somewhere, he didn't, he only found a walkie talky which cant be used to contact authorities. Thats everyting i wrote.
