Thank you Michael ..... for putting this out there and saying the quiet part out loud !! I'm about 1/3 the way through my Instrument training and this info could not have come at a better time. When I am not flying the real airplane, I am using my sim to take care of all the chair flying. I am moments away from clicking 'buy now" on your "The Pilot's Guide To Low Time Flying Jobs".
