Westbrick has always had an issue with turnovers and was indisputably a failure as a Laker, but to be fair, he had a point. He was being asked to play to the opposite of his strengths, in a team where neither that role nor his preferred one would fit (at least not without LeGM changing his game to accommodate Russ', which everyone knew wasn't going to happen). Being benched aside, it probably didn't sit well with him, so I can see where he's coming from with his comment. Never been a fan of his play or his stat-padding, but he seems to actually enjoy basketball inasmuch as he always gives it his all on the court, so I commend him for that.
