Music was so fun in the 80s
@martydaymudefromdc3 жыл бұрын
Creatively it was the most prolific decade in contemporary music, reaching into the 90s. The sheer volume of artists and independent record labels which existed throughout the 80s is unmatched. It's a pity really, the 80s gave vast numbers of new as well as established artists the opportunity to have their talents introduced, heard and celebrated by music fans across the spectrum. Music, particularly R&B and Dance music, reigned supreme and dance clubs were diverse social gathering venues for those who shared a common love of music and admiration for the artists who created some of the very finest songs in recorded music. Music appreciation was a holiday. And great music is eternal.

Damn! So this song gets stuck in my head. I just couldn’t remember who sang it but I remember it was cool. Thanks to the modern internet I find that it was by The Commodores? This was of course after Lionel Ritchie left the group. For some stupid reason I thought that their only hit was Night Shift. Thank you for posting.

fantastic song,this one cemented the foundation of love for funk music when i was a teenager and i have never seen the video till now, and boy that eye ball action from Milan just frightens me a little as if it were a lions stare just before pouncing onto its prey

Animal Instinct! One of my favourite tracks from the Commodores!👍👏 Enjoy the lyrics below! Commodores - Animal Instinct lyrics On my back You're on my track I can feel you creeping up on me Such a hungry love on the hunt Stalking through the night We're running wild In your eyes I'm the prize In the lion's den I can't get free Now we're alone Don't let me go Cos you're bringing out The savage beast in me My scent's in the air It's everywhere I'm gonna be your prey tonight I've given up the chase I'm ready to be tamed So tonight you better use your Animal instinct (Oh baby) Let's set the beast free tonight Animal instinct (Come to me) I wanna be your primitive lover Set a trap Then you attack Bringing me to life with every bite A single touch is just enough To stir the animal inside of me Lost in your jungle Weak from the heat I'm gonna be your prey tonight I won't hide anymore Listen for the roar I know tonight you gonna use your Animal instinct (Oh baby) Let's set the beast free tonight Animal instinct (Come to me) I wanna be your primitive lover A savage heart Hungry for the touch In the dark I'm ready for the hurt I hear the call The call of the wild Every night I need to feel your Animal instinct (Oh baby) Let's set the beast free tonight Animal instinct (Come to me) I wanna be your primitive lover Ooh, ooh ooh Ooh, ooh ooh ooh My scent's in the air It's everywhere... I'm gonna be your prey tonight I've given up the chase Ready to be tamed So tonight you better use your Animal instinct (Oh baby) Let's set the beast free tonight Animal instinct (Come to me) I wanna be your primitive lover Animal instinct (Oh baby) Let's set the beast free tonight Animal instinct (Come to me) I wanna be your primitive lover Ooh, ooh ooh Ooh, ooh ooh ooh Ooh, ooh ooh Ooh, ooh ooh ooh Animal instinct Animal instinct
