Thanks for this lesson. I heard of Keigo, but at my level of Japanese learning, If I can use the basic grammar properly then I am doing well. Once I can speak and understand Japanese better, then I can start learning sonkeigo.

Sonkeigo and kenjougo are something I’ve found hard to fully learn. English doesn’t have this kind of situational vocabulary.

I understand. Especially Sonkeigo and Kenjougo can be tricky since English doesn’t have direct equivalents. Using these forms can be challenging, but knowing them can help you understand what people are saying when you visit Japan and interact with staff at hotels or stores. Staff members use these formal expressions frequently.
