Notice how when French Montana "freestyled," the camera never went panned down far enough to show the table in front of him, yet he looked like he was reading and stayed stiff the whole time. And now look at Common's freestyle. Camera is far enough back not hiding anything and he using hand gestures. Those that are truely freestyling can't help but to use their hands for emphasis in a freestyle. Its a natural habit. But there are too many fake, pre-written freestyles on the market.
