Honest Review. In comparison Ms Shilpa jee's Eeco camper was well made. Thank you. Many people like the idea to have a small camper van of their own but warry of the hidden costs of modification and subsequent maintenance. EECO is certainly a good option for budget conscious people.❤

Nice video of Common man caravan by an uncommon man - Dhruv ji. By covering people like Ankit ji you are serving very very much of real Indian camping /overlanding community. In this video, a passionate overlander is interviewing another passionate overlander. Ankitji's car set up is good but can improve by modifying some items. Three suggestions from my side. First, height ofthe backrest of back seat can be increase by some inches and it can be put on kitchen sliders. It may upto 22"/23" in total. Second, kitchen setup requires more modification - Ankit ji can see the kitchen set up of youtuber Ghumakkad Bugz. Third Ankit should think to replace completely his diy Awning. So far as hatchback camper van is concerned, I have converted my new Wagon cng into a camper van a year back. One can see the video on youtube channel "Feel the life " of Sachin ji. Dhruvji keep guiding young and budgetary overlanders like the Dhruv Tara (star) 👍👍

जैसा कि मै कहता हूँ। आपको घूमने के लिए बाइक, गाड़ी, कैम्पर वैन, मोटर होम से भी पहले एक जुनून चाइये। ध्रुव भाई बहुत धन्यवाद अंकित भाई से मिलवा कर इस बात की सच्चाई सामने लाने के लिए। दरअसल मन सबका करता है लेकिन 20 30 50 लाख का खर्च देख कर आधे से ज्यादे लोगो की हिम्मत वही टूट जाती है क्योंकि उतने का तो एक 1,2 या 3 BHK आ जाता है। जितनी शक्कर उतनी मिठास। और शौक की कीमत नही क्योकि शौक बड़ी चीज है। जल्द आपको मै अपनी nissan evalia से मिलवाऊंगा जिसको मैंने कैम्पर वैन में तकदील किया है। उसका खर्चा मात्र 15000 रुपए आया है। ये एक प्रोटोटाइप डिज़ाइन था लेकिन फ़िलहाल मुझे काफी प्रेरित कर रहा है। बाकी अंकित भाई कोई क्या कहता है फिक्र नही। ध्रुव ने बिल्कुल सच कहा कि जो जीवन मे खुद कुछ नही कर सकते वो दुसरो को आगे जाते नही देख सकते। आप लगे रहो।

@dreamridersdelhi A apt example of "where there is a will, there is a way" While the setup is not ideal, Ankit has made it work. A couple of things I wish he did differently, One was the rear seat. Not just about comfort, but also about basic safety. The back rear just about reach the lower back and in unforseen circumstance it can be quite dangerous. I completely understand this was a very tight budget build, but being a teacher that he is, I think once his budget allows, he will come up with a better solution. Secondly, the two plywood pieces that hold the bed in place, a simple suggestion I would like to give him would be drill holes into the base plate that folds on top and may be add a clamp on the plywood places so it locks in place when the top is down. Third issue I found was the placing the gas cylinder in the drawer. The burner is too close to the plywood and can be a fire hazard. He can either get a table or place a plank on the drawer and keep the gas stove over it, until he gets the twin hob stove that he was talking about. But leaving all this aside, kudos to the build. I wish him good luck on his overland trips :)
